We know Trouble has multiple pairs of white gloves, but does he wear different styles? Fingerless gloves, fur-lined for the winter, etc.
Yes, he wears different kinds of gloves, typically just the standard white when he’s out about and feeling lazy, but he has furred ones for winter and he also wears black or brown when out in the field for missions! A flash of glaring white is a great way to give away a sniper’s position on a rooftop, so they’re not always white, either!
lena, please, im begging at this point i think im going crazy because i keep getting locked out of trouble's romance (yes, the impossible) >.<
i'm playing Blade as my 1# romance and Trouble as my #2 (plus flirting w Chase here and there because i cannot help myself). i seem to have no problem with having Blade fall in love with me, but I got all the way to the beginning of Chapter 7 and realized even with max relationship w Trouble (100%) i hadn't gotten any flirting/romance options with him since liken Chapter 2 (or his second day off scene) so i restarted my whole play through (i need to see both their confessions so badly it hurts ARGH), but this has me completely stumped and stuck. tried looking through the tumblr and patreon and couldn't find a fix :/
i mostly noted that after we come back from the reach (Trouble's 3rd interlude) that there aren't any romance options for him (found this out by using quickbuild to see what a romance option should look like for that interlude, sorry) if it helps some things i changed from my first playthrough and still can't romance:
- didn't kill Rat in Chapter 1
- interrupted fight with Lazu to pull Trouble off in 2nd interlude
- didn't tell him to change his temperment issues after he goes to jail
please send help !!! i don't know why he hates me when i love him so much :(((((((((((
Hi anon, are you trying to romance both Blade and Trouble on a single playthrough? I noticed you said Trouble is your #2 romance—perhaps that’s the issue! :)
Hey! So, the drawing you reposted of Trouble reminded me that I’ve been dying to find that scene lol. I remember reading that bar scene where we go after Trouble because he’d disappeared, and then the MC finds him all beat up and talks to him and everything. But when I played that scene, I was on Red’s route, so I didn’t get any of the romantic dialogue. Now that I’m doing his route (using the quickbuild to see specific scenes), I can’t remember which chapter it happens in anymore lol. I think I’ve redone the quickbuild like five times trying to find that scene hahaha.
Would you be able to tell me which chapter that happens in? I honestly can’t handle redoing the quickbuild anymore lol :'D
Hi, that scene takes place on his sixth character interlude, so you can actually use the quickbuild to set his number of interludes to “5” and then skip ahead to the nearest day off! It’s actually more tied to how many interludes of his you’ve done than it is to the chapter number! :) Hope that helps and makes sense!
U can tell trouble has matured bc he talked us down from an absolutely monumental crashout he has become so powerful 💀☠️

FESTIVAL SPOILERS --- the rejections 😭 especially Blade's second one was so sad!! i just know he gave up on love for good 😭 [its not accessible in game though i just...dug around a bit 😳] like Trouble's rejections seemed to be more... stoic i felt (surprisingly), but he loses a GREAT deal of points if you refuse to break it off with Tallys/Chase, Blade's friendship lose is much smaller (though in his case youre not picking someone over him...imagine if there was an option to be like Yeah no I'm going back to Red, you get an -100 lol)
Trouble’s still trying to find a way to be friends with you and feels like it’s “his fault” for ruining the friendship by bothering you with his feelings (if they’re not requited), so he tries to put on a stronger front in the face of rejection in order to preserve the friendship… because he’s well aware that it’s on him if it makes things awkward between the two of them, in his mind MC was just innocently existing and doesn’t deserve to get punished for rejecting him! Blade just ends up blurting things out without really thinking that far ahead, so he doesn’t really know how to react and just removes himself from the situation as fast as possible instead of trying to maintain cordiality like Trouble, who prepared himself ahead of time LOL

Trouble’s use of his power is generally completely unconscious and instinctive–like he doesn’t plan for it to happen ahead of time, it just happens, which is why he’s speculative that it even really exists at all–but yes, it did activate during the confrontation with Thurl: it just wasn’t a purposeful decision on his part!
