Liefred, or Red, Antiqua is an honest and charismatic Mage who leads the Veiled Circle in Capra, though he only gained this position unexpectedly and recently. Red spends his time exploring the ruins of the past and is a Traveler: a magic-user who can teleport instantaneously across great distances. If the main character attended the Circle, Red can be their old friend, rival, or even an ex-flame.
Red's personality is easygoing, inquisitive, friendly, and intelligent; he is a friend to all and well-liked for his more sensible demeanor. However, he can become fixated on his academic goals and quest for knowledge, toying with powers that should not be disturbed.
Red is romanceable and is attracted to male, female, and non-binary player-characters.

Tallys Ironwood is the Shepherds’ reasonable and level-headed Elven archer who serves as one of Blade's lieutenants and the Order's third-in-command. Before she came to Haven, her clan was destroyed by the Autarchy, and she has never forgiven those who are responsible. Ironically, although her new position involves working for the very government she despises, she only serves as a Shepherd as a way of protecting other Diminished.
Tallys' personality is generally calm, composed, cautious, and motherly in some moments and aloof in others. Although she acts indifferent, she would leap at the chance for revenge in a heartbeat.
Tallys is romanceable and is attracted to player-characters of any gender-identity, including male, female, and non-binary.

Shery has demonstrated a keen interest in exploring the Shepherd headquarters, as their base lies within a mysterious Mage's tower, and balances her intense sympathy for the Diminished with her devout belief in the One-God.
Shery's personality is kind-spirited, caring, fussy, shy, and anxious. Not much is known about her past, but she has stated she is hesitant to get close to recruits out of fear they will die.

Very little is known about Mimir's origins or even her personality. She is a Seer: a magic-user who claims to receive visions of the future. Where these visions come from, and how accurate they are, is left up to debate, as Mimir can only vaguely sense what is happening in the present. Always her mind is caught in the future.
Although many believe her silver eyes indicate she is blind, Mimir can actually "see" perfectly well. However, it is difficult for her to distinguish between the threads of the present and the future, causing her to ignore things that may be right in front of her.

Blade is the enigmatic and stoic commander of the Shepherds who comes burdened by a mysterious past. Although he seems cold-hearted, he is fiercely protective of those around him and will lay down his life for others without question. His skills with a sword are legendary, but as a leader he can seem unreadable and standoffish.
Blade's personality is quiet, cool-headed, reserved, perceptive, and serious. He is not prone to showing emotion and can seem harsh to some, but his proud work ethic and diligence inspires most to follow his example. There are some rumors that Blade might be one of the greatest assassins the Continent has ever seen: but if that's true, many wonder, then how did he come to work for the Autarch?

Although he is kind, he can punch someone's lights out on the drop of a dime and has a troubling propensity to get involved in fistfights.

Halek is the quiet and laidback chieftain of the Hunters in the Reach, the Hunters' ancestral home. He and his twin brother Naolin were born to omens that declared that Halek would be the savior of his people, and that his brother would be the savior of him. However, despite this lofty prophecy (or perhaps because of it), Halek is quite lazy and will slip away to take a nap if no one orders him to stay put. Naolin is the more responsible of the two.
Halek's personality is pensive, lackadaisical, patient, unflappable, and sleepy; he prefers to take his time and stop to appreciate the smaller things in life. He suffers from the same blood-rage as all Hunters, flying into a berserk rampage whenever he senses an Endarkened nearby.
Halek is not currently romanceable, but may become a DLC romance option down the road. He is attracted to male, female, and non-binary pursuits.

Prihine is Lavinet's spoiled younger cousin and the main character's noble-born charge at the beginning of the story. She often acts out and throws temper tantrums, but at the heart of it all she seems to be very lonely and isolated from the world. She can be a formidable courtier if given the resources. She is betrothed to a much older politician named Turti Ushala.
Prihine is romanceable in certain routes of the story. However, she is not considered a "full" romance option because most of her relationship takes place off-screen after a one-night stand. Strangely, she claims that her sword, Gonturan, can talk to her.
Briony's personality is bright, warm, friendly, talkative, and emotionally-perceptive, able to disarm even the frostiest of personalities. However, she is also somewhat sensitive, and she has a fierce and unpredictable temper.

He tends to do whatever he feels like without much logic, but it always seems to work out for him. He claims that his thieves operate according to a strict code of honor, despite being criminals. It's said that he once robbed a foreign queen with just a wink and a bow.
Chase's personality is mischievious, teasing, enigmatic, and hard to pin down. He tends to disobey authority and set plans and prefers to operate based solely on gut instinct and impulse. Although he is always smiling and joking, he struggles with his morality and feelings of doubt, trust, and self-worth.

Lavinet is a beautiful, impassioned Norm aristocrat who harbors good intentions but who can be out-of-touch with the ways of the world. She is the heir to the Lockwood fiefdom, a small but prosperous territory far north of Haven. Despite her polished and demure looks, she is famously stubborn and hard-headed. Her father once attempted to marry her off when she reached the age of majority, but relented when Lavinet burned his rose garden down in protest.
Lavinet's personality is charitable, gossipy, cunning, ruthless, and vivacious. She can be vain or self-serving at times, but recognizes this within herself and strives to do good. Her policy is that wealth and aristocracy do her no good unless they can help her achieve the things she wants, including true and everlasting love.

Riel is the strict, exacting, and logical leader of the Merchants Guild in Haven. He dabbles in inventing and history on the side and favors sweets and the opera. Despite his sophisticated demeanor and likely-aristocratic background, however, Riel is as ruthless as a ganglord and smarter than most of the era's supposed geniuses. He can famously predict others' behaviors just by looking at them. It's said without irony that he is often thinking at least twelve moves ahead of everyone else.
Aside from his intelligence, Riel's personality is sardonic, methodical, cuttthroat, cunning, and can be somewhat manipulative towards his enemies. He is also extremely neat, bordering on neurotic, and refuses to work in less-than-ideal conditions unless there's an emergency. Although he has displayed zero hesitation in destroying his competition, he secretly funds many charities and supports the Diminished--though whether this is simply penance for his other crimes, no one is quite sure.

Ayla's personality is brash, rough, fiery, distrusting, and fiercely-loyal. Although she tries to act as if she has a tough skin and cares for no one but herself, her strong sense of right and wrong ensures she intervenes and stands up for others, even when it hurts her own chances of survival.
