I enjoy playing tabletop roleplaying with simple rules where the complexity of characters emerges during play. I’ve collaborated with my groups to build many sets of mechanics over the years, and I’m sharing some here. My touchstones are a simple conversation flow like PbtA, refereed moderation in a style that is now called  Free Kreigsspiel Roleplaying (FKR), and dark secrets shared as the game goes on like Fiasco.
