We just wrapped Player2 AI NPC Jam #4, and the creativity on display was unreal. There were a lot of really good games that didn’t make the winners list. That’s one of the hardest parts of judging and ranking: the cutoff happens fast, and many entries could easily have landed in the top group on a different day or with a different scoring mix.

If you built something for this jam: thank you. You made the community better and pushed the idea of “AI NPCs” in surprising directions.

We have decided that you can continue to update your game/mod without limitation as long as you submitted your game before the deadline of this jam. 

The reason is that the best games/mods on our platform are actually continuously updated (check AI Influence, for example), so there is no reason not to allow updates for jam-created games as well.

But remember,  judges will play your game once, and we can't tell when they will play it. Although player metrics will be included throughout the 2-week periods.

unfortunately not but we are making image edit / video generation 1/3 of the costs during the jam period so it is easier for people to create (10J 30J instead of 30J 100J)
