The aims of this study is to investigate what are the influence factors of consumer behavioral intention toward online food delivery services (OFD). 200 valid questionnaires were collected to empirically test the research  model using partial least square (PLS) path modelling approach. The result imply that proposed hypotheses were supported except for the relationship between prior saving orientation and convenience motivation.

Many national governments have attempted to prevent and combat COVID-19 using mobile health (mHealth) technologies during the epidemic. During this time, governments began developing smartphone-based apps for prevention, call tracking, and monitoring people with COVID-19. An important question is, does everyone benefit from these technologies equally and fairly? To answer this question, we evaluated the user interface of smartphone-based apps developed during the COVID-19 era by considering their design for older adults, in order to determine whether social justice has been considered in the development of these apps.

Background Smartphone-based contact tracing apps can contribute to reducing COVID-19 transmission rates and thereby support countries emerging from lockdowns as restrictions are gradually eased. Objective The primary objective of our study is to determine the potential uptake of a contact tracing app in the Dutch population, depending on the characteristics of the app. Methods A discrete choice experiment was conducted in a nationally representative sample of 900 Dutch respondents. Simulated maximum likelihood methods were used to estimate population average and individual-level preferences using a mixed logit model specification. Individual-level uptake probabilities were calculated based on the individual-level preference estimates and subsequently aggregated into the sample as well as subgroup-specific contact tracing app adoption rates. El uso de la inteligencia artificial en los gobiernos ha aumentado en la última década en diversos países, adquirien-do mayor importancia en el contexto de la pandemia por CO-VID-19.  Los  chatbots  son  una  de  las  principales  herramientas  que funcionan a partir de la inteligencia artificial y que han sido utilizados por los gobiernos para brindar información y servicios a los ciudadanos, así como para el seguimiento, monitoreo y con-trol de la COVID-19. El uso de estas herramientas ha generado debates éticos sobre el uso de datos personales, la privacidad, la transparencia, la rendición de cuentas y el derecho de acceso a la información. El objetivo de este trabajo es identificar y anali-zar las principales preocupaciones éticas que emergen en torno a  los  chatbots  implementados  en  el  gobierno  de  México  en  el  contexto de la COVID-19; para ello se analizan los casos de Su-sana Distancia y Dr. Armando Vaccuno. Individuals with chronic conditions and disabilities who are vulnerable to secondary complications often require complex habilitative and rehabilitative services to prevent and treat these complications. This perspective article reviews the evolution of mHealth technologies and presents insights as to how this evolution informed our development of a novel mHealth system, iMHere (interactive mobile health and rehabilitation), and other technologies, including those used by the Veterans Administration. This article will explain the novel applications of mHealth for rehabilitation and specifically physical therapy. Perspectives on the roles of rehabilitation professionals in the delivery of health care using mHealth systems are included. Challenges to mHealth, including regulatory and funding issues, are discussed. This article also describes how mHealth can be used to improve patient satisfaction and delivery of care and to promote health and wellness.

Surgical patients are increasingly using mobile health (mHealth) platforms to monitor recovery and communicate with their providers in the postdischarge period. Despite widespread enthusiasm for mHealth, few studies evaluate the usability or user experience of these platforms. Our objectives were to (1) develop a novel image-based smartphone app for postdischarge surgical wound monitoring, and (2) rigorously user test it with a representative population of vascular and general surgery patients. A total of 9 vascular and general surgery inpatients undertook usability testing of an internally developed smartphone app that allows patients to take digital images of their wound and answer a survey about their recovery. The present inquiry investigated the dicto-comp’ effectiveness on the writing achievement of EFL learners. An experimental research design, chiefly concerned on the non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design, was taken into the research. Thirty six students were taken as the sample purposively. An English writing test was employed as the primary instrument to assess the writing achievement of EFL learners. The research results found out (1) the EFL learners’ English writing achievement level in the group of experimental after the treatment given was in the good and very good category, (2) dicto-comp significantly improved the EFL learners English writing achievement in the experimental group, and (3) dicto-comp made significant difference on EFL learners’ English writing achievement than those who were not. The importance of online social networks (OSNs) in people's daily lives is growing, however all widely used OSNs are centralised, which brings up a number of management, security, and privacy concerns. Instagram is now a photo and video-sharing social media platform used around the world, and English is increasingly used in captions by non-English speaking Instagram users. This study was aimed to figure out why students at Serambi Mekkah University write English captions on Instagram. This study involved 30 students majoring in English at the University of Serambi Mekkah. The research design used was a descriptive study. To collect data, a close-ended yes-no question questionnaire was distributed online through Google Form. The questionnaire measured the responses in terms of English learning and self-image factors. Research highlights the paucity of pressure ulcer training for informal carers and suggests pressure ulcer risk is linked to high levels of carer burden. OBJECTIVE This pilot study evaluated a smartphone app with a specific focus on pressure ulcer prevention education for informal carers. The app was shaped by the principles of micro-learning. Background In the United States, almost 90% of women are at risk of at least one chronic condition. However, the awareness, management, and monitoring of these conditions are low and present a substantial public health problem. Digital health tools can be leveraged to reduce the alarmingly high rates of chronic condition–related mortality and morbidity in women. Objective This study aimed to investigate the 4-year trend of digital health use for health promotion among women with chronic conditions in the United States. Methods Data for this study were obtained from the 2017 to 2020 iterations of the Health Information Trends Survey 5. Many smartphone users are uncomfortable with the permissions requested by their mobile apps. The sheer number of permissions can be so overwhelming that many users are unable to adequately manage their permission settings. We present a methodology for building personalized privacy assistants to recommend permission settings to users. We conducted two field studies with Android users: the first (n=84), to collect privacy preferences and build a recommendation system, the second (n=51), to evaluate the effectiveness of the recommendations. Results show that 73.7% of recommendations are accepted. Following interactions with the assistant, participants were motivated to further review and modify their settings with daily privacy nudges. Despite showing significant engagement and modifying permissions not covered in the recommendations, participants only modified 5.6% of the recommendations they had accepted. Privacy policies written in natural language are the predominant method that operators of websites and online services use to communicate privacy practices to their users. However, these documents are infrequently read by Internet users, due in part to the length and complexity of the text. These factors also inhibit the efforts of regulators to assess privacy practices or to enforce standards. One proposed approach to improving the status quo is to use a combination of methods from crowdsourcing, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract details from privacy policies and present them in an understandable fashion. We sketch out this vision and describe our ongoing work to bring it to fruition. Further, we discuss challenges associated with bridging the gap between the contents of privacy policy text and website users’ abilities to understand those policies.
