Run `npx directory-serve .` and your current directory gets served up over HTTP to your local network. You get a QR code, too, if you want to transfer a file to your phone, say.

We just asked Chrome what navigator.appName is and it says 'Netscape'. navigator.appVersion is '5.0'. So we can enjoy all these JavaScripts.

Luckily they have some code so you can restrict the use of JavaScripts to only the most modern browsers of the day. If you're not using Netscape 3+ you are such a square.

Tesseract.js is a JavaScript 'port' of the C++ Tesseract OCR library. It's been around for many years but its new v3.0 is far faster than before and makes it a compelling option for in-browser OCR if your app needs it.
