Sign upPlaylist Padding / Remove Default Playlists #337

I would agree, I had no use for the default playlists and have never used them, would like to be able to hide/delete them. |
|
I agree. I think playlists should have an overflow option to 'hide'. There would then also need to be a settings option to unhide hidden playlists. |
|
Hey there, I'd like to work on it. |
|
Just chiming in to agree that the ability to hide the default playlists would be very much appreciated. The solution proposed at #337 (comment) is exactly the functionality I would hope for. |

@timusus Hi. Where is the hide button should be located? Near Play, Play Next, Edit, Export? |
|
The playlist tab can be enabled in the library view, via the 'display' settings. I imagine the 'hide' button would be part of the overflow menu for each individual playlist, with an accompanying settings option to restore hidden playlists. |

@timusus Yes, I see. |

Formed in 2009, the Archive Team (not to be confused with the archive.org Archive-It Team) is a rogue archivist collective dedicated to saving copies of rapidly dying or deleted websites for the sake of history and digital heritage. The group is 100% composed of volunteers and interested parties, and has expanded into a large amount of related projects for saving online and digital history.

I want to suggest that the padding (size) of the playlists be reduced, or at least have to option to remove/hide the defailt playlists. As it stands, when I scroll to my playlist tab in the library view, I can only see 5 playlists, 4 of which are the default:
-Podcats
-Recently added
-Most played
-Favourites
-Created playlist
At the moment I have 0 need for any of the prebuilt playlists and want to not have to scroll to reach my own. At the very least an option to re-order the playlist so I can put my own at the top. It doesn't help that when scrolling between tabs in the library view (horizontally) the scrolling hangs and stops if you accidentally scroll vertically. It makes reaching and playing my playlists really difficult.
Thanks for your effort anyways,
Cheers
