@cb_jarvis is a bot @gauravchl created that lets us schedule CodeBuddies hangouts directly from Slack.

We need an improved system for email notifications, outside of a possible (coming soon?) Mailchimp weekly newsletter.

*implemented using Mailgun already, but we should switch to Sparkpost or Sendgrid.

Hangout Notifications:

a reminder email after a user RSVPs to a hangout, 24 hours before the hangout starts*
a reminder email after a user RSVPs to a hangout, 2 hours before the hangout starts*
a followup email to attendees of a hangout after the hangout ends, to remind them to share what they learned

And, when study groups becomes available as a feature:

email notification to the study group creator welcoming them as a study group leader, and telling them about the features (e.g. ability to invite members to be moderators, tips for organizing hangouts, etc.)
email notification to members of a study group whenever a new hangout is scheduled as part of that study group
email notification to study group admins when a user joins their study group
email notification to members when a study group is archived
ability to turn off each of these individual subscriptions on a page with checkboxes

Project to manage issues involving refactoring and putting together code standards.

A project to coordinate the Codebuddies community and outreach.

A project where we manage maintenance of existing features (fixing bugs, etc.).

A project where we manage development of new features.
