    Very sad to lose Earl Kemp (1929-2020), a founder of Advent:Publishing -- once the only source of critical books on SF -- and 1961 fanzine Hugo winner, who at 90 still made a point of commenting by email on every issue of Ansible.

    Research query to SF fandom. Does anyone anywhere have a copy or transcription of Bob Shaw's farewell "Serious Scientific Talk" as delivered at the 1995 Glasgow Worldcon? I'm told that Bob gave essentially the same talk at Confabulation, that year's UK Eastercon.
