OpenStack Compute

OpenStack Compute is the underlying cloud computing fabric controller for the OpenStack cloud. This means that all activities within the OpenStack cloud (such as starting and stopping virtual machines) are handled by this product. In effect, OpenStack Compute is the “operating system” for the OpenStack cloud and manages all resources, networking, authorization, and scalability needs for the cloud.
