Tails the douche was a Sonic the Hedgehog fan comic that debuted in March 2013, made by Kruuidnootje (the artist for the comic) and FPS (the writer). It was later retired in May 2015.

The comic centers around the Sonic cast getting annoyed at Tails; an isufferable vulpine companion and sidekick to Sonic who just doesn't know when to shut up, causing much grief and annoyance to the rest of franchise's cast.

Appears to not have updated since 2015.

Tails the Douche provides examples of:

• Boring, but Practical: Turns out Robotnik gets his funding not by holding cities for ransom or other evil deeds, but by selling overpriced plane fuel.
• Darker and Edgier: Metal Sonic killing Tails and Robotnik in a dream.
• Death Is a Slap on the Wrist: Implied here for Tails, who when he dies, comes back in 60 seconds, due to his apparent immortality. He apparently goes to Hell during the 60 seconds though.
• Does This Remind You of Anything?: "Special Stage" has the checkpoint post claim that for 50 rings, he can take them to the special stage that will make them feel like they're in another world. Tails, wowed by the proposition, pushes Sonic to do it, and they get stuck in a triangle loop of bounces.
• Funny Background Event: The spiker losing at slots, and the Poledancing robot [[in this strip is a good example.
• Furry Reminder: "Capsule" reminds everyone that Tails is a fox; he eats chickens, including the ones they save from Robotnik.
• Hero Insurance: Sure Tails, Sonic may have just saved the day, but there's a lot of mess to deal with.
• I Reject Your Reality: "Species" has Tails repeatedly claim that Knuckles is an Arachnid, not a Echidna.
• Jerkass: Basically Tails' raison d'être in this comic:
  • "Bubbles" has Tails steal the air bubble that Sonic needs to survive.
• Downer Ending: Invoked when Sonic defeats Perfect Chaos. Station Square's in ruins.
  Tails: All's well that ends well, right?
• Gameplay Ally Immortality: Tails mentions multiple times he's immortal, and when he dies, he simply comes back after spending 60 seconds in hell.
• Informed Species: Tails has trouble determining the species of most of the rest of the cast. he thinks Sonic is a cat and Knuckles is a spider.
• Know-Nothing Know-It-All: Tails corrects Knuckles when he says he's an echidna, telling him that it's pronounced "arachnid".
• Minor with Fake I.D.: Sonic tries to get into the Casino Night claiming he's 21 with a (badly made) Fake ID, but Tails blows his cover by revealing that he's almost 8 years old.
• Obliviously Evil: RoboMurder has Tails and Sonic beat a stage, and questions where Robotnik keeps the animals he's stolen...which as it turns out, they were stored in the robots him and Tails destroyed.
• Parental Substitute: Sonic, unwillingly, to Tails.
• Punny Name: "Names" is all about Tails explaining his name to Sonic, to which he responds with a groan, and calls him Tails instead.
