Afterworld is a Dark Fantasy webcomic created by Adrian Markham. It follows Kayleen, the last of the Frostalyns who awakens in a dungeon and is sent on a mission to free a world overrun by creatures of darkness. The comic began in April 2022 and has since gained a following on Webtoons. It can be read here

- After the End: The main story takes place after Apollyon made a deal with the Crystal heart, becoming an Evil Overlord and unleashing hell in the process.
- Animalistic Abomination: The creatures summoned by the heart evoke this.
- Artifact of Doom: Apollyon's Crystal Heart
- Big Bad: The corrupted King Apollyon.
- Fallen Hero: Apollyon.
- Last of His Kind: Kayleen is implied to the last of the Frostalyns, who were most likely exterminated when Lord Apollyon used the Crystal Heart.
- Sealed Evil in a Can: The Crystal Heart, until it wasn't.
- Splash of Color: Most of the artwork is [[Deliberately Monochrome black and white or sepia]]. When colour does show up it's striking.
- Trauma-Induced Amnesia: What little Kay remembers before her imprisonment isn't pretty.
- "Well Done, Son" Guy: Apollyon plunges the world into darkness and chaos for this.
