ReVOLUTION is a Science Fiction First-Person Shooter game. It was developed by FUN Labs, and published by Activision Value. It was released in 2002.
In this game, there is a mega-corporation that has taken over every part of life known as The Corporation. You play as a new janitor named Jack Plummer for this organization. This janitor eventually comes to realize that The Corporation is engaging in something evil. He ends up joining a resistance movement called The Resistance.
The backstory says that the environment is damaged, and that the human race has been modified to enhance strengths and minimize weaknesses. The Corporation seems to have a project called "New Breed" that ostensibly is for advancing the human race.

- Absurdly Spacious Sewer: The first few stages are set in the sewer system underneath the Corporation, large enough for him to spend several minutes navigating around. It's also filled with oversized rodents who chews at him.
- Airborne Mooks: Pterobirds are leathery-skinned, avian monsters resembling pterodactyls which appears in a few outdoor areas, that Jack was assigned to gun down as his first "duty" as janitor. Later on one of the Pterobirds managed to sneak into a turbine vent, and Jack needs to hunt that one as well.
- Air-Vent Passageway: In several stages, Jack needs to infiltrate the building's inner bowels through ventilation shafts. Though he needs to collect a crowbar to pry open grates allowing him to enter and exit first.
- Almighty Janitor: Jack Plummer starts out as a mere janitor of The Corporation. He becomes the first experiment of the "New Breed", becoming so much more.
- Artificial Stupidity: The game's coding for human-based mooks seems... incomplete. When left idle they'll speed all over the place in an erratic, randomized manner as if they're on meth. The moment they bump into Jack... they just pause right there, frozen for several seconds, before Jack blows them away with whatever gun he's carrying.
- Grenade Launcher: One of the later equipment Jack can obtain is a high-tech blaster that fires bouncing, explosive rounds.
- MegaCorp: Known as The Corporation. It has taken over every facet of life.
- Ms. Fanservice: Jack Plummer meets Juana, a member of the Resistance, who is not shy about showing off a lot of skin.
- Obviously Evil: The Corporation has a logo resembling a big, evil-looking winged skull. It also has posters saying "Power And Control," as well as "The Corporation Is The Sun Of Your New Life!" plastered all over the place.
- La Résistance: Jack Plummer eventually joins up with a group opposing The Corporation. This group is called the Resistance.
- Lightning Lash: Subverted; Jack can obtain a futuristic whip-like gadget with an electrified barb that can stun enemies and has the longest range, but it turns out to be a Power-Up Letdown - it travels in a straight path and has a wide margin of error when aiming, ensuring Jack would miss almost every shot with that weapon unless his timing is absolutely precise. Just sticking to firearms would be a much better choice.
- Mecha-Mooks: The Corporation's security includes humanoid-looking robotic soldiers, with one mission being crawling with nothing but robotic enemies.
- A Molten Date with Death: The early parts of the game is set in the Corporation's smelting plant, with pits filled with molten lead below walkways and girders Jack needs to walk above. Falling in causes Jack's health to rapidly burn up, and if he fail to climb out on time he's literal toast.
- Neon City: The Megaoloplis where most of the game is set in is a sprawling urban landscape filled with neon billboards and signs on every single building, though the effects are somewhat lost since every stage is set in daytime.
- Propaganda Machine: The Corporation makes use of this. You'll see more than one poster saying "Power And Control," as well as "The Corporation Is The Sun Of Your New Life!"
- Regenerating Health: After his conversion into a Breed, Jack's health regenerates gradually as long as he isn't taking damage.
- Rebel Leader: The Resistance has one, and his name is Marcus.
- Sequel Hook: Jack goes after the magnate guy, and on the final level, in the very end, we see a car fly away. The ending cutscene shows Jack just standing there, and then Marcus, the resistance leader, comes with his car, says it's over Jack, let's go, they go away, and then the staff roll goes by. However, a sequel has never been made.
- Unique Enemy:
- Those weird black tiger-mutations appears in a single area within the Corporation's lab, in small amounts. With only one which appears semi-deformed.
- The stage set in a rain-drenched industrial zone has Jack taking on several mooks in green jumpsuits, among them a single lone flamethrower operator.
- Was Once a Man: The Breed mutants used to be humans before the Corporation experimented on them to create obedient biological weapons. Exhibit A: Jack.
- Wrench Whack: One of Jack's melee weapons is a heavy pipe wrench that can be used for breaking skulls and conserving ammunition.
- You No Take Candle: There is quite a bit of broken English in this game. The company FUN Labs is Romanian, so they might not have native English speakers on hand.
