Dadish 3D, first launching on April 4th, 2024 for both iOS and Android, would mark the first entry in the series to enter a 3-dimensional space, with its graphics taking on a simplistic, low-poly approach.

The Dadish series contains examples of:
- Alliterative Name: Applies to most enemies in-game: Burger Bully, Idiot Icecream, Surly Soda...
- This is also done for certain worlds; e.g., Monto Mountain, Soleca Station.
- Arrange Mode: Upon beating the game, a new character will be unlocked. This varies depending on the installment, of course:
- Dadish and Dadish 3D presents you with "Possum Mode", where you play as a possum. Gameplay-wise, nothing changes, except for the children also being replaced with other possums.
- Dadish 2 has you play as Fowlst, a spherical chicken, in "Fowlst Mode". He acts exactly like he does in his series; tapping left or right will make him flap once in that direction. In addition, the baby radishes are replaced with spotted eggs.
- Dadish 3 features "Panic Mode", where the character is a possum with a purple shirt and green shoes named "Panic the Possum". His horizontal speed is far greater than Dadish's; however, the jump height remains the same, and traction is considerably decreased.
- Dadish 4 has you play as Dadish himself.
- Boss-Only Level: The last level of every world houses a single boss in an almost entirely symmetrical room, with a few mechanics strewn about that vary from each location.
- CAPS LOCK: With the exception of Dadish 3, most bosses utilize this in their pre-battle dialogue.
- Cranium Ride: Dadish can hitch a ride on either Burgurgular, Momato, or The Dolphin The Dolphin's head whenever they appear. The former two have unique properties: Burgurgular moves forward automatically, leaving you with the option to jump, and Momato bounces whenever she lands on the ground, allowing you to control her horizontal movement.
- Creative Closing Credits: The credits are different depending on the game:
- Dadish and Dadish 3D are a kind of Credits Running Sequence, involving the titular character and his children hopping to the right for a good while before stopping and looking up at the night sky. The latter installment includes screen transitions that re-visits the worlds that were played through, and even lampshades the entire process:
Dadish: "Uh, how exactly do we get home from here?"Baby Radish: "Hmm... maybe if we all just start walking to the right, some names will float past below us, different scenery from all the places we've visited will go past in the background, and then eventually we will be back home. Once we are home we will look up at some fireworks and the word 'END' will drop before everything fades to black."Dadish: "I don't know, that sounds pretty weird to me."Baby Radish: "Just give it a go, Dad."- Dadish 2 and Dadish 3 have the cast fall out of the sky and float up from underwater respectively.
- Crossover Cameo: Dadish has appeared in just about all of CatCup Games' works in some form, including Super Fowlst 2, Molecano, and Be Brave, Barb, to name a few.
- Escape Sequence: Dadish 3, beginning from level 19, introduces a giant daikon that the eponymous character must run away from, all while dodging hazards left and right.
- Father's Quest: The sole plot point throughout the series with Dadish rescuing his children, who have all scattered to numerous worlds.
- Green Hill Zone: The first world in the games usually takes place in the woods or jungle, with the main exception being Dadish 2 which starts out in a corporate environment.
- I'll Kill You!: Most bosses beginning from Dadish 2 use this line verbatim right before the actual fight.
- Dadish 4 mostly forgoes this.
- King Mook: All henchmen pre-Dadish 3D are not only larger, but also based on an enemy that the player previously encountered.
- Non-Indicative Name: The second boss of Dadish features a slice of pepperoni pizza named "Hot Dog".
- Inversely, the first boss in Dadish 3 is a hot dog who goes by "Pizza Slice".
- One-Hit-Point Wonder: Dadish dies whenever he touches a hazard or enemy. This has been the case for every game in the series.
- Punny Name: Dadish is a combination of "dad" and "radish". Likewise, Momato combines "mom" and "tomato", and for Burgurgular, "burger" and "burglar".
- Repetitive Name: Translating the first word of every world from Esperanto to English results in completely identical phrases; for instance, "Abaro Woods" becomes "Woods Woods", and "Herbejo Meadow" turns into "Meadow Meadow".
- The character "The Dolphin The Dolphin" qualifies for this as well.
- Running Gag: Occasionally, at the end of a level, Dadish might find a possum in lieu of one of his radish children. He says something to it, followed by the possum screeching loudly towards him, resulting in either an exasperated or resigned reaction.
- In a select few cases, the possum might vomit instead.
- Share Phrase: In the first installment, all bosses used the phrase "PREPARE TO DIE!". Later games have changed this to some variation of "I'll kill you!"
- Shout-Out: There's quite a few references of video game characters to go around:
- The end of level 37 in Dadish 2:
Burgurgular: "My hat! Thanks, Dadish!"Dadish: "No problem!"Burgurgular: "I've loved this hat ever since I stole it from that rapping dog."- The start of level 22 in Dadish 3:
Dadish: "Nice to meet you, The Dolphin!"The Dolphin The Dolphin: "No, no, it's The Dolphin The Dolphin. You have to say it twice."Dadish: "Oh right, like an echo!"The Dolphin The Dolphin: "No that's a different Dolphin."- The end of Daily Dadish's April 12th level, "Big Bad Boatyard":
Baby Radish: "What's your favourite video game, Dad?"Dadish: "I like that one with the blue hedgehog. I think it's called... Mr Blue Guy the Very Fast Rodent (With Spikes)."Baby Radish: "That's not what it's called and you know it."Dadish: "I also like that one with the Italian plumber who eats mushrooms. I think it's called..."Baby Radish: "Don't say it."- In general, the "I'm X, Yth henchman to the Big Bad" Share Phrase among the bosses is identical to how the bosses in Alex Kidd in Miracle World introduce themselves.
- Signpost Tutorial: Almost all the games feature large, technological signs within the first 2 levels. Daily Dadish only dedicates this to when the game is first opened.
- You Are Grounded!: A common punishment Dadish afflicts on his more unruly children.
Tropes exclusive to:
Dadish 3
- Degraded Boss: Churgurnular, Maureen, and Hotdog all reappear during levels 36, 39, and 49 respectively. While both Maureen and Hotdog have been reduced to moving obstacles in a specific section, Churgurnular has it worse, as he can be seen floating endlessly underwater beneath a dock.
- Stating the Simple Solution: Before the final boss, when Lord Kanrud gloats about making soup out of Dadish and his children, the latter mentions how he could have simply bought some from a store. This, of course, prompts Kanrud to want to kill him.
Daily Dadish
- Mooks, but No Bosses: Considering the nature of this game, it would make sense that there are only levels to beat, without a single recurrence of any of the bosses in previous games.
- Play Every Day: Daily Dadish cycles through one of its 365 levels for each day of the year. Completing one within the gold medal's allotted time awards you with a star, which you can use to buy cosmetic skins.
- Remixed Level: All of the worlds feature an alternate version where it not only uses a different palette but also has remixed music to go along with it.
Dadish 3D
- Accidental Misnaming: Dadish does this towards some of the henchmen, making up a Punny Name based on their appearance or qualities.
- No Listening Skills: Even when Durnak explicitly says he'll kill Dadish and take his physical form to rule the world, the latter just does not respond adequately, nor pay any attention, infuriating him.
- Skippable Boss: All within Dadish 3D, and probably oversights on the developer's end:
- Subwoofer's boss fight can be skipped entirely by performing a well-timed double jump to the leftmost boundary of the arena and going around the rest of the space.
- Stabby Mcmurderman is skipped by pushing a crate right over the very edge of the ground where the locked door is, and then making a precise double jump towards it before walking around.
- The final boss is avoidable too, though that requires you to utilize a glitch where walking straight into the nook of certain platform collisions will make Dadish gain speed exponentially. After doing so for a few seconds, jump and pull back when he's made it to the other side. The setup can be viewed here
.
- Video Game 3D Leap: As the name would suggest, Dadish 3D is the first game in the entire series to have made the switch from 2D to 3D, presentation-wise.
Dadish 4
- Distressed Dude: Dadish's role as the main protagonist takes a backseat as he is kidnapped by Duke Curry, and has to rely on his son Dadish Junior to save him.
- That's great! Now no one can say this game doesn't contain any new mechanics!
