Class of '09 is a multiple choice game where the player can get 5 different endings in Flip-Side, 7 in Re-Up and 15 in the original game based on the choices they make, along with text messages afterwards as epilogues, some of which can be rather... unexpected. open/close all folders
Class of '09
- Nicole and Jecka agree with photography teacher Mr White's white nationalism teachings. They inadvertently aid him in building a chlorine bomb that he uses to detonate at a Puerto Rican civil rights rally, where he is killed and the two are arrested. Nicole ends by mentioning while she was initially not racist, she was forced to so she could join a white supremacy prison gang for protection. She receives a text from Jeffrey quoting the Zodiac killer.
- After Jeffrey joins Mr White's white pride party, Nicole convinces him to leave after offering to take him on a date. Jecka and other members kill Jeffrey for leaving the group. The FBI investigates and since over 95% of the school were involved in the club, the school is effectively closed. Jecka becomes a white supremacist in prison, and Nicole ends by mentioning apathy leads to "stupid shit". She receives a text from Jeffrey wondering if he was the only one that joined the party for friendship, and that they were the only ones that "even pretended to like him"
- Nicole films members of the school white pride party chanting in the school and uploads the video on a Nation of Islam web forum. It gains notoriety and the school is burned down in an attack. Nicole ends by mentioning she called in sick that day and that it, "sucks to be in the white pride party". She receives a text from Jeffrey wondering if it can be classified as a hate crime if "everyone had to go".
- After telling everyone at school about Jeffrey's sexual fetishes and being unsympathetic when Jeffrey confides in her that he is going to kill himself, Jeffrey commits a school shooting, killing Nicole and many of her classmates. She ends by mentioning people will remember him as an evil mastermind opposed to a pathetic pervert, and her as a kind, thoughtful girl opposed to a mean spirited bully that caused the entire incident. She receives a text from Jeffrey ranting about how unfair the school has been to him, referencing a girl complaining about "only having her boyfriend to talk to", and how he desires to destroy the world she lives in.
- Nicole agrees to date her gym teacher, Coach Colby. After agreeing to go to his place, Nicole is choked out and killed by him. She ends by mentioning that Jecka was cool, but the rest of her family can burn in hell with her. She receives a text from Jeffrey saying that Nicole is being memorialized at the school, and ponders if he would receive such honor if he were to die.
- After Kylar jumps off a roof and kills himself for Nicole, she starts a YouTube vlog about it. Her video becomes viral and she becomes a YouTube star speaking as assemblies and taking paying sponsorships. She ends by mentioning she tried to hang out with the guy who plays McLovin, but he ignored her. She receives a text from Jeffrey admitting his envy of Nicole for her fame, how much he hates her, and ends by mentioning he can still be her friend.
- After Kylar's death, people become scared of Nicole believing she can convince people to kill themselves. Nicole coerces Jeffrey into doing her homework for her the rest of the year. Nicole becomes valedictorian as a result. In her speech, she says that she just used quotes from an AA brochure, and gives a, "special thanks to lacrosse". She receives a text from Jeffrey where he complains about how women "want men to show vulnerability" yet it doesn't work out for him.
- Nicole breaks into Kylar's house after his jump and steals his large stash of Percocet. She nearly overdoses on them a week later and is involuntarily sent to rehab. She ends by mentioning meth heads with no teeth constantly hit on her, and makes a half joke, half cry for help remark about hanging herself. She receives a text from an unknown number posing as a spiritual message, with it actually reading, "kill and fuck a fat bitch"
- Nicole claims to her mother that Crispin sexually harassed her in an attempt to get a new wardrobe, but she attempts to have him expelled instead. She cannot afford the legal fees and her and Nicole are forced to move again. Nicole ends by saying she isn't surprised since her 6 alimony checks go to her dying her hair. She receives a text from Jeffrey saying it's a "non news factor" and "at least people talk to you".
- After Jeffrey takes a photo of Nicole in her swimsuit, Nicole breaks into the school's photography lab and destroys it to prevent the photo from being developed. She is caught by the police, is given a state-wide expulsion, and works at a fast food restaurant. She ends by mentioning her mother has become physically abusive. She receives a text from Jeffrey where he fantasizes about killing women for ignoring him for so long.
- After successfully making a false sexual assault claim against her photography teacher Mr. White, Nicole is awarded $500,000 in a lawsuit, drops out of high school, and moves to LA. She ends by mentioning she picked up an expensive drug habit and has met another girl just like her. She receives a text from Jeffrey complaining that when he is harassed, he is told to get over it, while Nicole is awarded.
- When pressured by a lawyer in court over her false sexual assault claim, Nicole admits it was fraudulent. Her and her mother become financially ruined by the legal fees and lose their house. Her mother remarries and kicks Nicole to the streets, where she becomes homeless living in a cardboard box. She ends my mentioning that living life being honest makes it much more difficult. She receives a snarky text from Jeffrey offering to let Nicole stay at his place.
- After verbally ousting the school faculty for their predatory tendencies during graduation and learning the principal was just like Nicole in her younger years. She ends by pondering on her tendency to manipulate those around her, and contemplates a career in politics. She receives a text from Jeffrey explaining that he works at a gas station now, and his lack of extracurricular activities caused him to be rejected by colleges, and that he just saw someone who laughed at him in school arrive in a fancy new car.
- Nicole is unable to cope with maintaining her male friendships and attempts suicide by slitting her wrists. Her mother saves her life mid attempt and she is committed into a psych ward until her 18th birthday. She ends by mentioning that the feeling of true happiness is always weaker than the desire to kill oneself. She receives a text from Jeffrey saying, "Fuck you. I have to hear about you and you aren't even dead".
- Perhaps the most brutal ending, if Nicole is "nice" to everyone she meets, she becomes overwhelmed and legitimately depressed trying to maintain her friendships with various men, whom then all get angry over a false rumor of her having sex with the entire football team. She seeks genuine help from either her guidance counselor or mother, but they both downplay her concerns. Distraught, Nicole leaves a note mentioning that being kind and nonjudgmental to people "doesn't work when they all want to have sex with you", before hanging herself. She receives a text from Jecka simply saying, "hey. miss u. I'm sorry".
Re-Up
- Nicole ruining Megan's romantic relationship by seducing her boyfriend simply because she was rude and bossy to her as a student teacher in theater class. She ends by mentioning that people will do crazy things when pushed too far. She receives a text from the boy asking if she wants a serious relationship.
- Nicole gets expelled from school, becoming homeless, and having to be an online escort trading sexual favors for drugs. She only gets out of it by blackmailing and then reporting her former Art teacher who got her expelled for attempting to solicit her. She ends by mentioning street rules don't exist "on the actual street" and how people will do anything, no matter how depraved, just to survive. She receives a text from a man asking for a whipped cream handjob while she pretends to be his daughter.
- Nicole goes to prison for selling crack and after almost self-reflecting on her actions, immediately backtracks by vowing to kill her former principal after getting out. She receives a text from her brother saying he sold all of her possessions and that she doesn't have a home there anymore.
- Nicole becomes emotionally and mentally abusive to her girlfriend Ari before she breaks up with her. She ponders the alternative of being abused or being alone, how bisexual girls feel around men, and ends wondering if she somehow learned something from all this. She receives a drunk text from Ari saying she doesn't miss Nicole but just the sex, and offers to be friends with benefits.
- Nicole gets roped into a suicide pact by Emily, the latter dying of an overdose in their remedial English class while Nicole just barely avoids the same fate due to diluting her share of the pills she was meant to use. She mentions that Emily is far more evil and messed up than her, but at least she "has the serotonin to not kill herself." She receives a goodbye text from Emily confessing she was attracted to Nicole and hopes their bodies can collapse together.
- Nicole gets her English teacher fired by intentionally writing an essay quoting Mein Kampf and having the English teacher read it out loud during a PTA assembly, which was got her reported to the ADL by a Jewish deli worker acting as a caterer for the event. The teacher's racist past is unearthed during the whole scandal which gets her teaching license revoked, much to Nicole's satisfaction. She receives a promotional text from the Jewish worker's deli offering a catering event that excludes schools and other antisemitic activities.
- After rejecting Ari's confession, Nicole is painted as a homophobe by her classmates. After Ari's house is burnt down by the school's "Straight Club", she reveals she had to date her to ensure she won't be blamed for the whole thing. She ends by mentioning how annoying Ari is and hopes she moves away after graduation. She receives a text telling her that police officers from her 911 call are 1 hour away and to simply hide until they get there.
