- Mabel's entire relationship with her grandmother and the reason she falls in love with the glade full of animals. One flashback shows that she chose to live with and be primary caregiver to her grandmother when her parents moved away from Beaverton.
- George keeps track of all the animals' names because, according to him, that makes it less likely to get mad at them but also shows what a cheerful and friendly individual he is.
- The Foreshadowing to Mayor Jerry not being as evil as Mabel believes him to be - the option he choose to drive the animals out of the glade, while morally dubious, was completely non-lethal.
- Although played for laughs, Mabel goes around her neighborhood trying to gather signatures for a petition against Mayor Jerry’s beltway, but nobody bothers to listen to her. She ends up knocking on the door of an elderly man who mistakes her for a senior care worker and manages to get him to sign her paper because he likes her energy. Then Mabel takes a closer look and sees he just listed “milk, eggs, bread”. However, during the second post-credit scene, ants are shown delivering the groceries to him and form the name "Mabel", showing she didn't forget about him.
- Although the Hoppers program is shut down after the Titus incident thanks to Mabel, Dr. Sam finds a new project which involes in creating dog collar translations and even asks Mabel if she would like to be her assistent. She gladly accepts the job and hugs her. This also implies that Mabel may be able to properly talk to George in the future, especially since she never got the chance to apologize to him for her mess and broken trust.
