Everyone Has Standards moments in Animated Films.
- 100% Wolf: As much as the other werewolves look down on dogs, they do not agree with Hotspur and Commander Mendelson's plan to kill and turn them into wigs.
- In All Dogs Go to Heaven, before Charlie starts actually caring for Anne Marie, he's indignant when she tells him that he's not that much different from Carface. Earlier in the movie, the dogs at the casino even say that Charlie treats them better than Carface does.

- The Bad Guys (2022):
- When Snake is urged to share a push pop with Shark, he refuses and eats it, getting Shark to swallow him whole in retaliation. The other Bad Guys and Professor Marmalade are understandably aghast at this, though Snake declares that it was worth it.
- A darker and more dramatic example comes when Marmalade reveals that he's set up turning the Bad Guys to good and then framed them for stealing the heart-shaped meteorite. None of the Bad Guys are happy with him for this, but they're shocked when Wolf lunges at Marmalade with a feral snarl, ready to kill him (since Marmalade had tricked him earlier with his "such a good boy" comment). Even Snake — Wolf's closest friend and the guy who wants to eat Marmalade due to his love for guinea pigs — is left agape.
- In Balto, Nikki and Kaltag are eager to see Balto and Steele fight for the medicine. In spite of them helping Steele bully Balto earlier, their amusement turns to genuine concern as Steele uses very dirty moves to get the upper hand, resulting in Balto getting a nasty bite wound. They then become very shocked when Steele carelessly knocks the medicine sled down. After the fight, they and Star decide to abandon Steele and follow Balto.
- A Bug's Life: Flik and Atta have to cover their eyes in horror before Hopper gets eaten by the bird's chicks.

They're also horrified when Judge Frollo orders Esmeralda to be burned at stake.
- The Incredibles 1:
- Edna Mode is a bit of a Nightmare Fetishist, what with her having an underground armory designed to test super suits for durability, and she watches the demonstrations with glee when entertaining Helen. But what is one line she will not cross? As she puts it, "No capes!" When Bob tries to argue with her about this after he "convinces" her to make a suit for him, Edna cites a Long List of supers that died due to a Cape Snag (which is confirmed in the DVD extras for most of them), and she makes it clear that she will not have his potential death on her hands due to that. Bob did call her the best for a reason, after all.
- Violet gets offended when Helen assumes that she and Dash left Jack-Jack all alone in the house to stow away in the plane. As she puts it sarcastically, only a complete idiot would do such a thing. No, she got the best babysitter she could find at a late notice who had a good reputation for handling infants. Well, Violet ended up being right on that count of her friend Kari stimulating a baby's mind.
- After Syndrome vows to get Bob's family one day (and having already proved he means to meet that claim earlier), a furious Bob has enough and throws a nearby car right at his getaway aircraft. He makes a Sympathetic Wince, however, when it results in Syndrome getting Cape Snagged into one of its propellers (as a nod to the aforementioned Brick Joke) and detonating the craft. Even for a monster like him, that's a brutal way to go.
- The Jungle Book (1967): Even Baloo knows that Shere Khan is nothing to laugh about.

- In The Million Dollar Cat, Tom is told that he will inherit a million dollars so long as he doesn't harm another living thing, not even a mouse. Jerry spends the entire short taking advantage of this, and humiliates Tom at every opportunity. By the end of the short, Tom decides that enough is enough and beats up Jerry, as spending the rest of your life being humiliated by your mortal enemy is not worth a million dollars.Tom: Gee. I'm throwing away a million dollars... But I'm happy! Yeah!
- In Monsters, Inc. 1, bringing objects from the human world into the monster world, even by accident, is a serious crime. Kidnapping children and planning on doing them harm? A bigger crime that the Child Detection Agency's willing to overlook the other one over.

As far as she's concerned, he's proof that she's safer with him.
- In The Nightmare Before Christmas, Jack Skellington quite literally lives to scare people (though he's a generally nice guy despite his spooky talents); his whole job as the Pumpkin King is to ensure that the spirit of All Hallows' Eve is kept scary. But he absolutely refuses to work with the villainous Oogie Boogie; the other denizens may be monsters, but Oogie is genuinely evil. He also advises him to wait for the deadline of the will to pass and then fire Linguini. But even he seems to be unnerved of his client's conspiracy rant, especially when he keeps talking about the rat. He seems to think Skinner was starting to go insane, wondering out loud if he should be concerned about him.
- Revolting Rhymes: Cinderella wasn’t exactly at her nicest in this adaptation, rudely dismissing her neighbor Jack and demanding the Fairy Godmother for a wish, but that was understandable considering her miserable home-life. However, she is nothing short of disgusted when she realizes her Prince has a penchant for beheading people, and her attraction for him dies on the spot when he tries doing the same to her.
- In The Road to El Dorado, all those witnessing are horrified when Tzekel-Kan reveals that his "proper tribute" to the Gods is a Human Sacrifice, especially Chief Tannabok, Miguel and Tulio. - Snakebite Scruggs from Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island. For how much of a grumpy, tourist-hating curmudgeon he is, Scruggs is still above letting a dumb tourist (and his dumb dog) get eaten by alligators on his watch.
- Sing 2:
- Jimmy Crystal's top personnel, Jerry and Suki, are loyal professionals and seem willing to partake in even some of Jimmy's more ruthless business measures. However, they both look very uncomfortable when they see Jimmy snarl abuse at his own daughter, Porsha, for losing her role in the production, and when he finally decides to get rid of Buster in retaliation. When Crystal first tries to kill Buster, Jerry manages to buy the koala some time by reminding Jimmy of a TV appearance he has scheduled, with Suki freeing an imprisoned Buster while they're gone. As Jimmy becomes increasingly more unhinged and psychotic in his vendetta against Buster in the third act, Suki finally draws the line and angrily sics the police on him, though Jerry remains loyal to Jimmy as the latter is being taken away.
- While Reformed Criminals Marcus, Stan and Barry are still perfectly willing to help the Moon Troupe break the rules and obliterate Jimmy Crystal's goons for them, they don't touch Jerry or Suki, being non-physical personnel of Crystal who are blatantly cowering throughout the scuffle rather than actively participating in it anyway.
- Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: The huntsman is ordered by the Queen to murder Snow White so that she'll be considered Fairest of Them All again. - The Super Mario Bros. Movie: The Bros.'s two uncles spend the family dinner scene making fun of the poorly-made commercial they made for their recently-established plumbing business, as well as using coordinated outfits and white work gloves as their trademark. Then the Bros.'s father tells Mario he's nuts for leaving a "steady job" (the job in question had been toxic due to a Bad Boss) for his "crazy dream" and is dragging Luigi down with him in the process, making Mario insulted enough to storm off from the table. The uncles proceed to give the father Disapproving Looks along with the rest of the family, showing that even they knew he went too far with his insensitive comments.
- Trolls:
- Branch has various flaws, but he does have standards:
- He could't help but feel sorry for Bridget in the first film, as he watches her break down crying because of Chef's treatment of her and because she couldn't express her feelings for King Gristle Jr, even though he didn't like the Bergens at first. Also, in the same film, despite being known for his grumpy state, where he was hesitant in experiencing any sort of positivity again due to his grandmother's death, even he was saddened over Poppy's despair from Creek's betrayal against their own kind.
- He showed sympathy for his oldest brother John Dory in Band Together, even though he was upset with him for his obsessions and actions in driving their family apart, as he realizes that Spruce and Clay are doing the same thing to the latter that they are doing to him, which is treating both of them as the same brothers they remembered.
- In World Tour, when he sees the effects of the ultimate power chord on the troll monarchs, Riff is taken aback and concedes to Poppy's point that everyone being the same isn't a good thing.
- In Band Together:
- As much she is a fan of BroZone, Poppy is disturbed that Branch's three older brothers treat him like a baby and finds their intentions to separate again after rescuing Floyd selfish, as she realizes that they weren't thinking about how Floyd and Branch would feel about it.
- John Dory maybe headstrong and sometimes arrogant he does have standards, as he is disgusted by what Velvet and Veneer were doing to Floyd, as he described as worse than lip syncing. He also wasn't gonna force Branch to come with him, even though he needs his remaining brothers to sing the perfect family harmony in order to save Floyd, and courteously lets him talk things over with Poppy, especially when she quickly tells him that they were in on the adventure before his youngest sibling had a chance to respond.
- Despite knowing Viva's paranoia, trauma and intentions to not let anyone leave their home, including himself, three of his siblings, Poppy, who is Viva's sister, and Tiny Diamond, Clay is unsettled with her attempts to trap them knowing that his younger brother Floyd is in trouble and needs their help.
- Floyd does show annoyances to John Dory's antics, but does care about him and understands that he means well. Also, despite being held prisoner by Velvet and Veneer, Floyd can't help but feel disturbed by what their parents do for a living, which is being dentists. Although he is already disgusted with Velvet's treatment of Crimp, Floyd is displeased with how she treats Veneer even more and ends up feeling sympathy for him.
- Branch has various flaws, but he does have standards:
- In Turning Red, Tyler has been mocking Mei for how creepy and stalker-ish her mother is. In the climax, when Ming attacks the concert, he joins Mei's friends in assisting with restoring Ming back to normal and saving 4*Town when they are dangling from their stage harnesses. He is a jerk at first, but he wouldn't want someone hurt for real.
- The Ugly Duckling and Me: When Ugly puts on his dancing act in the carnival, the seagulls don't hesitate to laugh and jeer at him. When he bursts into tears and chews out Ratso for his apparent deception, however, they can only look on in shock, one of them even weeping, and they are equally shocked during his kidnapping. That said, they still burst into applause when all is said and done.
- The Wild Thornberrys Movie: Sloan's minions are hesitant by the idea of setting off bombs to make the elephants run, knowing there is a kid nearby and she could easily get hurt. When they do it anyway, they show signs of severe regret.
- Wreck-It Ralph:
- Ralph definitely did not like Vanellope at all in the first act of the film since she stole his Hero's Duty medal. However, when he witnesses the other racers bullying Vanellope, not only is he absolutely disgusted by it, but he chases them off when they shove her into a mud puddle. Keep in mind that this was before Ralph even had a reason to like her.
- Gene is probably a Mean Boss and an Obstructive Bureaucrat as mayor, but is not the person to go against his word, as shown during the Darkest Hour.
- Zog: Dragons kidnap princesses, not kill them. Zog captures the prop of a princess before the other students can, but the head falls off. The teacher is unimpressed, so Zog fails to earn a gold star.
