Demonslayer, a.k.a. Besoboy, is a Russian comic book series published in Russia from 2012 to 2016 by BUBBLE Comics. With the exception ofIssue #28, it adhered to a “16+” age rating. It was part of the Bubble Universe.
After Danila, a soldier, was mortally wounded in combat, he was subjected to a magical operation that gave him superhuman strength and durability—but at a heavy cost: he must depend on the life energy of slain evil spirits to stay alive. Now known as "Demonslayer", and armed with an old soldier's badge that gets colder in the presence of demons—as well as magic tattoos and a variety of weapons—he hunts down demons and monsters is all stripes. He is joined in his quest by an outcast imp named Shmyg (who resembles a rat), an elderly werewolf named Black Dog, and a homeless girl named Yana (who shares her body with Balor, a demonic symbiote).
In 2016 the series received a sequel series under the name "Demonslayer - Vol.2".

- Artificial Human: Danila is ultimately revealed to have been created from the Life Energy of numerous soldiers who died in combat. His memories are actually cobbled together from the memories of those same men.
- Crossover: Demonslayer was one of the first BUBBLE Universe comics to cross over with another comic line, with Danila squaring off against Friar's Andrei Radov.
- Dual Wield: Danila carries a pair of pistols.
- Homeless Hero: Yana, formerly a homeless, emotionally disturbed junkie, is host to a demonic symbiote who teaches her the art of magic.
- Ragtag Band of Misfits: The main crew consists of Artificial Human demon hunter made of the souls of dead soldiers, his defected imp sidekick, a werewolf shaman tattoo artist, a homeless girl-turned sorceress, and her demon symbiote.
- Token Good Teammate: Shmyg the imp is a former Lord of Hell who defected, and now assists Danila and his crew.
