NATIVE is a brand of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and other products by Procter and Gamble. Characterized by the white packaging which only has their logo on it, and it looks clean, and their commercials use god and goddess, and other mythological characters.It’s tropeive!
- Atlantis: They use this theme in the commercials. Everyone is a Greek god or in heaven.
- Early-Installment Weirdness: Older commercials were skits of regular people before they became Greek myth themed.
- Fantastic Racism:
- Thankfully the other woman doesn’t hold any prejudice, but she claims her friends would, “Think it’s weird to live with a centaur.”
- ”I got catfished again.” as the centaur woman’s response to seeing her date is a catfish man.
- Pun: “It’s not a myth. It’s native!” as the characters in the commercials since the mid-2020s are gods and goddesses.
- Mistaken for Cheating: "The Return" seems well until the man's wife begins smelling him and kicks him out because she thinks he cheated on her.
- Ungrateful Bitch: In “The Return” a man’s wife is at first happy he’s alive after almost being killed by bears, when she suddenly kicks him out over smelling like a beach and thinks he cheated on her, and she doesn’t believe him explaining it to her.
- Visual Pun: “Got catfished again.” and the centaur woman sees her date is a catfish man.
