Love this and excited to get the higher level stuff in survival mode!!! I have figured out how to get every spirit so far except Scruffern and Mizzrick, those have been a struggle for me.
Oh, that’s awesome! Let me give you a couple more clues:
Scruffern – You’ll need to explore the map more thoroughly outside and keep an eye out for a bushs. Some bushes just don’t belong.
Mizzrick – This one’s a tough catch. He only appears under the right conditions, you’ll need to place a specific item during the correct weather and at the right time of day.
Hi! Awesome to hear it got you hooked! Right now, 8 out of 9 spirits can be unlocked, only Bluji isn’t available yet.
Since Survival Mode currently goes up to level 4, a few spirits can only be unlocked in Creative Mode. And for Blumpy, here’s a little hint: try experimenting with the flowers.
Phenomenal artwork! SFX also amazing! I was hooked into it once I sort of figured out what to do. There were some confusing parts (like the fences for the chicken coop) but my time playing Spiritstead was well spent. I'm looking forward to the full release :)
Thanks a lot for having your game demo available for gamers to try out <3
It was really helpful to see what might be confusing for players. The happiness was dropping because you needed to build decorations or happiness buildings. Right now, placing villagers near happiness buildings doesn’t increase their happiness, but we’ll be adding that feature in a future update.
Love it so much! I could see myself getting hooked on a game like this. The art style and music are truely lovely, and the gameplay feels seamless. Nice job!
Notes: I'm not a fan of the worm guide in the tutorial; personally, it reminds me of a educational video game.. Maybe a spirit of some kind would be a better guide?
-It was hard to see the check marks in the Survival/Creative radio button selection. Full screen web mode on a laptop.
Happy to hear you loved it! Yes, we’re working on updating the worm to something that fits the game better. Thanks for pointing out the issue with the checkmarks, we’ll look into it!
Love it. Finished the demo. I will agree that maybe the font will have accessibility issues. Maybe it could be more bold? I do like the charm of the interface and font choice. Some assets have different line strength/thickness (chicken VS the lamp post for example) - but that's more of a polish thing. I loved the vibrant color, stylization, general vibe, and simplicity of the game. I'm not the demographic by any means but this will be a day 1 purchase for me. Good luck!
Awesome to hear that even as someone who’s not a cozy gamer, you still loved it! We appreciate all the feedback, and we’ll definitely look into improving readability.
Hello, I am an Italian freelance translator! I recently completed a specialised localization course and now I'm trying to gain more experience (I've translated 2 games here, but the translation is not out yet). This game is so cozy, I would love to collaborate if you are thinking about adding an Italian translation! :)
Thank you for your message! At the moment, we don’t have plans to add an Italian localization, but we truly appreciate your offer and it’s great to know you liked the game.
Did you play in fullscreen or in the smaller web view? It can be harder to read on web if it’s not fullscreen. Since we’re planning to launch on Steam, we didn’t focus too much on optimizing it for itch.io smaller web version. The best way to play right now is fullscreen in web or by downloading the build. If it’s still an issue, we can definitely look into it!
On full screen, tried both the browser version and the download. It's quite blurry on both, and the chromatic aberration seems very high, a little uncomfortable to look at, difficult to read the text.

Man this is addicting. Really love the graphics.
Question: how many things in the journal are unlockable in the demo? I've only got two so far, been trying to meet Blumby but no luck.

So cute and addicting!
Will defo play again.
Aww, that makes me so happy to hear! Thanks for playing!

Awesome, loved seeing your gameplay! Yes, it looks like we should add an instruction on how to unlock the building, thanks for pointing that out.
Really glad to see you enjoyed the demo and are excited for the full release!
Excellent town building simulation game.
Thank you so much for the gameplay video!

The text on the buttons is too thin, if that makes any sense. It's hard to read against the white background.

2560 x 1440 monitor.
I can see myself getting real addicted to this haha. Very cozy! Will definitely buy on Steam once it's out :D
Really happy to hear that you liked it!
Pretty neat!
Thank you
