The Official Gem Communicator (XTF458H) (2017 Prototype Program) (Remake 2026)

In 2020 I connected to my computer at the time a hard drive from 2017 that I used in an older PC I had before. There I found Minecraft A.I.L. I don’t know if Insects was there as well—I didn’t see it—but what I did find was something I didn’t remember at all.

It was a program/tool based on Steven Universe, like a communicator with Homeworld, with the gems such as the Diamonds, the Pearls, and so on. It was a test I made because starting in 2017 I had become really obsessed with Steven Universe. I even wrote a fan fiction story where I imagined myself as if I were a Diamond, but a custom one called Gold Diamond. In that story I interacted with the other gems, and besides romantic ideas and scenes that I imagined and created, I even decided to pretend that I had a communicator with which I could talk to the gems, and so on.

The problem is that in 2020 I didn’t save anything from those games/tools, because I thought that hard drive would always remain connected. But that very evening, after a while, it stopped working. I put it aside later, and I never really found another chance to reconnect it again, except once in 2025, but I couldn’t get it to work.

So in March 2026 I thought that maybe—even though I still had some hope, but without any real guarantee of finding the original games—it would be better to just remake all the games based on my memories, so at least I would have them again and they would be accessible to people.

And that’s exactly what I did with this one based on Steven Universe! :D
I added some sounds—I don’t remember if the original had sounds—but I tried to keep it similar to the original in shape. I think it was rectangular but horizontal, and this time I made it without a border so it looks more realistic. ;)

I’m not sure if I’ll make a remake of Insects at this point, because I don’t remember the levels very well, unfortunately. I’ll think about it. But I will definitely make the remake of Minecraft A.I.L. .
