Live2DExpressionGenerator

Live2D Expression Generator is a small Windows utility designed for Live2D Cubism modelers.

This tool helps streamline the model creation workflow by automatically generating .exp3.json expression files from Name / Parameter ID pairs.

If you often create many expressions, gestures, or outfit switches in Cubism, this tool can save you a significant amount of repetitive manual work.

NOTE: This is a tool for Live2D Cubism model creation, not a streaming control tool.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Launch the tool

2. Paste expression Names and Parameter IDs into the table

3. Click Export

4. Review the preview list

5. Select your model folder

6. Expression files are generated inside the Expressions folder

HOW GENERATED EXPRESSIONS WORK

Each expression file (.exp3.json) generated by this tool uses the entered Name as the filename.

The content of each expression is intentionally minimal:

it sets the specified Parameter ID to a value of 1.0.

This design is meant to quickly create clean, predictable base expressions

that can be used for toggles such as expressions, gestures, or outfit switches

during the model creation stage.

More advanced expression behavior — such as combining multiple parameters,

fine-tuning values, or setting transition behavior — should be handled later

in Live2D Cubism or in external software such as VTube Studio.

This tool focuses on speeding up the repetitive setup phase,

not on authoring complex expression logic.

IMPORTANT NOTES

- This is a tool for Live2D Cubism model creation.

- It is NOT a VTuber expression control tool for streaming.

- This tool creates or overwrites files.

  Please back up important model data before use.
