Christoffer Bodegård’s Esoteric Ebb builds on the cRPG revival started by Disco Elysium et al. An entertaining setting, enjoyable writing and quest design, and superbly utilised tabletop gameplay aspects helps it stand out on its own.
Raw Fury and Christoffer Bodegård revealed that Esotetric Ebb releases next week. The tabletop adventure-inspired title will be available on PC via Steam.
Publisher Raw Fury had a couple of RPGs present during The MIX Summer Game Showcase. It revealed 2D action RPG Regions of Ruin: Runegate as well as releasing a new trailer for tabletop-inspired title Esoteric Ebb.
Raw Fury is partnering with developer Christoffer Bodegård on cRPG Esoteric Ebb. The game, inspired by tabletop adventures, is planned to release later this year.
