Not Jam Music Pack 2
NOT JAM MUSIC PACK 2
A collection of tracks made freely available for use in any commercial or non-commercial projects under the CC0 licence. Permission or attribution is not required for use.
This collection is focused on classic chiptune sounds, with some leaning closer to strict Gameboy limitations and others a little more expansive - hopefully you'll find something perfect for your project in here!
A number of these tracks were specifically written to allow crossfading between them - look for a "*" or "**" indicator for these.
Also included in this pack is a collection of 41 Gameboy/NES style sound effects, which can be previewed above.
All tracks are available in both .wav and .ogg formats to suit a range of requirements - just select the option you need from the download page.
If you use these tracks in your games or in other projects I'd love to see how they turn out! Leave me a link in the comments section below :)
Huge thanks to torcado, who created the wonderful Scritch player for in-browser audio playback.

Hi, I'm definitely using these in my game! Amazing work! Quick question, when you say
"A number of these tracks were specifically written to allow crossfading between them - look for a "*" or "**" indicator for these."
How does that work, considering they are different lengths? Normally for crossfading in my experience the two tracks I'm working with are the same length, so I can play them in parallel and adjust volume to fade between. How does it work with your tracks?
Hey! Thanks for asking - been a while since I made this one so had to go back and look at what I'd done:
For tracks marked **, whilst the standalone versions are all different lengths the loopable versions provided within the download are equal in length to allow for crossfading as you describe.
For the others - the loopable version of Battle Commences should be exactly twice the length of Battle Ceases, so the loops line up after one full cycle of Battle Commences.
This looks like it lines up with the files I've got saved locally, but please let me know if there ends up being any issue - if I can track down the original projects I'd be more than happy to fix!
