A game I made solo in one week for Scream Jam 2024
(Downloading the game is more recommended for the best experience, browser version may have minor bugs and sound issues)
(If you have lighting issues or really low resolution textures, set the graphics to high)
You play as a delivery man in a really really normal city of Deskadia. It's not your first day as a delivery man, but this time, expect something different. An old man that is a friend of yours, crazy asphalt man, a normal man, and a girl with really normal appearance. What can possibly go wrong? Can you choose your character's destiny?
(Game is focused for me to learn new things, expect cringe things and stuff)
Has 5 endings, each achieved with unique ways and has indicator in the main menu if you complete them (objects on the road)
- Go to various map locations using your delivery van
- 5 endings with unique ways to achieve
- Ending indicators on the main menu
- Inspecting item
- PSX Style Graphics
- Dialogues with NPCs
- Move : W/A/S/D
- Interact : E
- Flashlight : F
- Next Dialogue : Space
- Close Inspect/Keypad : G
- If the FOV is broken, you can fix it in the pause menu
- (P) to increase sensitivity, (O) to decrease
RECOMMENDED TO PLAY IN 16:9 MONITOR

LOVED this game! I didn’t expect to be cussed out by an old man but hey these things happen. I was honestly expecting to see caseoh in this one. I really wanted to get all of the endings so it’s a shame there’s no checkpoints. I still really enjoyed playing this game! Can’t wait to see more

There's no checkpoint because of the length of the game itself is very short, and the game is made for a game jam so I need to focus on the more important mechanics. Andd thank you so much for the gameplay! Hope I live long enough to release my next game 😂

The character base model is a woman, I use it because the clothes texture. And I forgot to actually make it more "manly" because it's unnoticeable, for me at least. Then when I notice it, it's too late. The game jam development time is over, which means I can't edit it. But it seems that people like it so I'll keep it that way

That was fun. I got the 'just another day' ending and I think it was because i waited outside the house instead of going in.
I will def play again and try to get other endings!
The jumpscares were good, when I went to house 2, I kept knocking and moved backwards and out of the corner of my eye saw that purple guy! ToT

Yeah I've been thinking about this since I develop the game, but I throw it out because I think it will make the game faster. But then when I test it myself, yeah I got bored with the same dialogue. But since it's a jam game, I can't edit my game because the game development time is over. And then I totally forgot about it, until you commented :D Thanks for the advice, I'll add it if I had the time to remake the dialogue system, and I will add it into my next game.
