3rd Place for GADGC Game Jam — Theme: XOXO

You play as a possessive friend on Valentine's trying to stop random bystanders from spreading their love.

CREDITS & ASSETS:

First and foremost, the avatar portraits were made by https://odoricommissionsrdm.carrd.co/

As for the rest, I did the pixel art sprites & coding. None of the art assets shown here had involved using AI in the slightest bit.

For SFX, I made the majority using BFXR; the rest I sourced from Pixabay and freesound.org.  As for the music, the intro guitar fingerpicking and the first dialogue's music was made by me! But the other two I sourced from opengameart.org

The only pre-made asset I used is the project file I built before the jam – it contains a boot manager for default game states and a basic pooling system. The rest of the assets were all made during the 1-week timeframe of the jam.
