nice variety in events. i see you are still improving it and it's going well. i did have an issue on the 3rd event where i crashed in-game and couldnt get out of that state? i had a good score going, too :/
i would also like for my name to be saved (as a cookie) so i dont have to re-enter every time i visit the game. that'd be a bonus to an already nice game :)
i dont know what you have available but this is what i use Purple Token. that's base64 and sha256 and worth a look? meanwhile, i dont think i've had anyone bother to cheat on my leaderboards but did chat with the api developer to get that encryption in place :)
Thanks again for your feedback. the 3rd Party "packer" software that i use, as i understand it, simply hides my files (which, i expect, is the "hide.bat" referenced above). the exe you're running is that software which goes on to extract my files into a hidden folder and then executes *my* exe while your experience isn't getting to that point.
that said, i pointed a friend to this thread last night and we've been prototyping ideas to obfuscate media which is all i aim to do; i'm trying to be responsible in keeping paid/commercial media from being easily circulated/distributed.
until that's ironed out and i can ditch the 3rd party software, i do have one older jam game that doesn't use it while it does write your best score to disc (if you achieve over 1000): if you would test P3 and advise if it runs properly, i would appreciate it as it would help me know that the 3rd party software is the culprit here, which is my hunch.
hmm. a couple of thoughts are 1) my games generally maintain a profile or game save file where i don't think xzretros games do. and, 2) lately i've been compiling as 64 bit (since i've gone to a newer version of the language, it's the only option while i might be able to use the previous version to produce 32bit versions). is 64 bit an option for you?
add: 3) i use a home made (3rd party) form of media protection that zx also doesn't use which i'd bet is causing your issue. perhaps i'll look at a different approach, there, as i'd love to make my games available to as many as possible.

qiro, the project page has zero info about the game while the trailer doesn't offer much more. how much variety is in the game? how many levels or expected time to complete or win the game?
the same goes for all of your submissions, really. are these prototypes, jam games, or actual games with a decent amount of development in them?
