I would give it a go

I spent quite a bit of time trying to make sure something like that wouldn't happen but I guess some mistakes slip past the cracks. Thanks a lot.

Yeah, I should have added these like red bars to indicate where the platforms would start and stop. Also I think I know why the audio might have broke. I should have re imported the file and set looping on, I thought looping it in Godot through the settings for the AduioStreamPlayer node would have just worked but for some reason its a bit more complicated then that. I should have also considered the fact that I am pretty good at platformers and that the average person doesn't have 100s of hours on platformer games, and I tried making a game I would have liked to play and would have understood which was a failure on my part to create effective game design. Thank you for playing !

Very short and very cute, I really like it. I wish there was more to it, like different level.

Very simple and game and well executed. I wish there was more meat on it's bones, but is enjoyable for what it is. Well done

Extremely well done art and I love the song you used. The sound effects are also very satisfying and so is the whole game in general.

The game look absolutely fantastic but man is it hard. the third level demands a lot of skill and patience. They are constantly looking over which makes taking pictures impossible for quite a bit of time. The art style is amazing, the audio is amazing, game play is very short and sweet. Amazing game overall.

Yeah, I wanted to go for that too

This was interesting for sure.I think the art and the music especially is fantastic. The game play is this game's weak spot, there just isn't a lot there. Otherwise fantastic work, and absolutely fantastic OST, hats off to the producer.

I also kind of got stuck. Immediately after going to work I interacted with literally everything I could but nothing happend. I'm really good at somehow getting stuck in these types of games

I really loved the OST and this was amazing to play, the circles were very responsive to my inputs as well. I really like this, its one of my favorites from the jam so far!

Very fun and enjoyable little game. I love the pixel art you borrowed for it and the mechanics and having several different enemies is very interesting. There was a bug where one of the red dashing kittens got stuck in the water and I couldn't hug him till his head exploded, but that was the one of the only issues I had with the game. Great work

Yeah, the 3d models all together are like 10 megabytes in total because they are really low poly and textured with pixel art. The game does run on a bunch of spaghetti code but there's so little code to begin with and the moving platforms are animated by a node which also cuts down on the code. All in all, thank you very much

I adore this cute art style, and the pigeon

I'm really surprised by you doing something as unique as requiring a webcam, while there was some jank and some issues in the game play side of things, artistically, this was so cool.

So interesting

Absolutely amazing game, I love the simple and charming pixel art and music which really reminds me of those older platformer games. This game was fun, and your take on the theme was very interesting to see. With that being said, it is prone to being a little janky. Specifically, the hearts that player needs to use like launch pad seem to have an element of randomness to them. Sometimes you go through them, sometimes you bounce off them and overall they are kind of annoying. Even with the jank, this game is fantastic., congratulations to you and your team.

Very interesting and creative, well done !

I appreciate that a lot, thanks!

Thank you!!!

I love the pixel art

Press "E" at the start of every level so the game doesn't freeze at an important moment

This was a lot

The game is slightly annoying to play, I suggest adding little glowing dots that indicate where the player will teleport to in order to allow them to better plan their moves.

(1 edit)

While this game is cool, my main critique is that it gets very boring and repetitive. My feedback would be to maybe trying adding more to the shooting and upgrade mechanics and consider adding enemies that do different things. Also I would suggest you try to keep the levels generally short, like 2-4 minutes per level. Great game! And good luck on the jam!

I sent you a request, I'm Gamma on Discord

Are you still open to teaming up?

Composer/Programmer here (Godot), I would be willing to team up.

I also code in Godot, and I have a bit of experience in 3D modeling, I'd be willing to join forces.

Pretty cool
