Usually the baddies can only either move or attack, but occassionally they can move and attack in one go, which kind of throws a monkey wrench into strategy.

Nice effort (for a very copyrighted and trademarked game fyi) but it's pointless without being able to position the defenders before starting, as you can in the original.

An almost perfect game. Simple but challenging. Takes a few runs to figure out the attacks.
Sometimes the top left chamber won't fire. 
Once or twice the "shoot all bullets" power didn't shoot all bullets.
When multiple bullets are yellow, you can shoot them all manually by clicking fast - allows killing more than one enemy in one turn without wasting a shoot all bullets power. TNT will blow traps into enemies. 

How do I get resolve? I need it to read books, but it seems I can only earn it by reading books, so I fall into a trap that I can't get out of. 

A little unpolished perhaps but the gameplay is solid. This is really nice.

Incredible looking so far.., error in the advanced tutorial, there's no research building in the Infrastructure menu. (browser version)

Am I playing a different game? I can't get more than five or six encounters in before dying.

I'd like to see the hard details of "Combat styles", the actual numbers. Not sure exactly how defensive support and stacking work. 

Also,

"The original Pendulous, released by Kamyan Software in 1994, pioneered supply line mechanics in PC strategy games." 

Bunten's great Global Conquest from 1992 had city support of units too, with a different implementation.

I've been doing all those things apart from the pattern study. That will have to be my next area of effort. Thank you for your advice.

Looks good, will take me some time to get into it. Bug: if you click "Play Kyo!" from the rules and info screen, the game crashes.

Excellent design but I feel like I'm playing a different game to everyone else, I simply never have enough resources to  make it to the midgame. Is that a deliberate restriction on the browser version?

Fun idea, feels like more could be made of it somehow. Corner clicks are almost always safe to start with.
