Thanks for the fun game. Here is some though I have when I play the game:

1. Focus is over power. I can melee down 10 enemy then get back to safe space in one focus. I have no reason to use gun or other abilities.

2. It is a little bit difficult to distinguish between background and obstacles.

3. It is a little bit annoying that the far sight doesn't work for straight up/down while the map has straight up/down space.

Pic 1: In non-full-screen  mode. Player see nothing no matter how they connect the dots.

2.  When moving the components, clicking the components (blue area) won't do anything at all. Instead, you have to  tune a little bit to see a green box(red area). Clicking the red area would move the component to the blue area. What make things worse is that you can't unselect the component. Right click sell the component with discount and help you fail the game.

It seems like this game only works in certain screen resolution. Sadly, it is not my resolution.

GitHub rejected the connection request when I click the "Sign in with GitGub" button.

the belt is too slow, the 3 miner at the bottom can't push the ores to the belt and the 3 refiner above can't take any ores.

Thanks for the fun game. I love action queue management. Here is some though I have when I play the game:

1. In my opinion, the action queue could have a textbox that the player can modify. When a new day begin, the game should be able to read the textbox just like it read the keyboard input. It is easier to control the game.

2. Currently, the game control description are in two different info pages and the comment setion. New players are confuse because we don't have simple list like this:

[Arrow keys]: Move/Dig

[G/H/F/B] : give NPC gift Gold/Heart/Fish/Bird

[space]: Interaction with the block you are standing on

[backspace]: delete action from queue

In my opinion, this list would be much more valuable then a offical walkthough

bug report:

If the research cost plus the current resource amount is larger than the resource limit, the resource production would stop during the research.

The research cost should be part of the current resource amount. It should not contubue the contribute to the limit calculation.

Bug report:

1. At the begining screen. The char set are missing. I don't know what are the second and third option.

2. Clicking the third option would freeze the game

Thanks for the fun game. I finsh it in 52.07 min. Here are some thought and bug I have in the game:

I don't see a reason to buy anything but warriors related troops/upgrate because:

1. every troops has its own damage/income upgrate. If we buy mutiple types of troops. We would have to spend more for the same thing.

2. There is no explaination on what mana pool and posion do. And without knowing what it does, mana income is just too active and low.

3. Thieves income are nice with full Fast Hand upgrade. Mutiple Shot upgrate of Elves is very good consider it double the damage. but they cost a lot than warriors. By the time I can get them, warriors are already having lots of upgreates and doing very well.

Bug report: after the dialogue with the king, I can't make the last hit to the drogn either. The issue dispaired after I write this post(about 15min-ish?)

Thanks for the fun game! here are some thought I have when I play the game:

1. The tutorial didn't expain this is a turn-based game at the begining. In addition, the "next turn" button is so perfect for "tutorial next page". I only understand how this game actually work when I am reading  tutorial part 3.

2. The resource collection animation is slow, and it would get slower as the animation process. It is a pain if you have more than a hundred of resource. In the late game when I have 1000+ square to collect, I can only go to next turn and let the animations kepp flooding on my screen.

Some people might perceive the game as ai slop not because of its UI, but because of how many design decisions appear unfinished or inconsistent. Here are a few examples that illustrate this:

1. Mega-Party costs significantly more than Care and Cleaning combined, yet their effects are nearly identical. It feels like the feature was added because a product manager asked for a shop system, but no clear decisions were made about what the items should actually do—and the developer or the AI(if exist) didn’t push back or ask for those decisions either.

2. Buying supplies is located within the Management screen, while hiring Room Service is placed in its own separate screen. On top of that, supply costs scale upward like a hiring mechanic rather than a purchasing mechanic. It gives the impression that the PM requested a management system and a room-service system, but didn’t define their behaviors clearly—and again, the developer or the AI(if exist) didn’t request clarification.

3. The UI itself isn’t bad, but many elements overlap or crowd each other. These problems are extremely simple to fix—often just a matter of adjusting a few numbers or changing spacing. Even as a backend developer, I could correct many of these issues quickly. It makes it seem like no one—neither the PM nor the developer or the AI(if exist)—took the time to think through the layout or visually verify the results.

The Income / Net display currently shows a fixed value, but the actual income fluctuates every update. Since the net value is already calculated inside update(), the UI should reuse that calculation instead of relying on a static number.

This matters because the displayed income is misleading. When inspecting the code, the actual income is being divided by 60 in game.js (line 178), which has no apparent justification. As a result, the Income/Net display is incorrect even before taking the mood modifier into account.

Once you realize this is vibe coding thing, you know they would never be able to make the online payment working as it should.

Yes. The only correct way to "play" this game is to "buy" tons of credits without actually paying anything. After level your tower, you can even turn on the buggy speed button.

I don't think you fixed the reward. I saw the game today and never loaded the old version. The first run failed at the wave 5 boss with x7 HP, got 300+ credit. The fifth run I manage to beat the boss and failed at wave 6, got only 150 credit.

All the factors you mentioned are already functional in the normal game loop. From a feasibility standpoint, these systems could be extracted into helper methods and invoked by the scheduler heap.
That said, I understand your concern. The scheduler would exist solely for offline progress and could be tricky to maintain.

In other idle games, I’ve seen three approaches to handle offline progress:

1. When the game is online, we can use circular array to log and calculate the avg income in the lase ten minute. This process should be reset at anytime any resouce income is negative. For offline progess, we can have (highest avg income * offline time). This is not prefect but much better than nothing.

2. If the game doesn’t rely on async processes, it’s possible to separate animation from game logic. By disabling animation updates, the core business logic could run at thousands of ticks per second. In practice, spending one real minute to simulate several offline hours is generally acceptable to players

3. Make offline progresses a consumable reasource. Consuming x OfflineSeconds could temporarily speed up the game by (x+1)*100% for one second. This makes offline time a meaningful and controllable resource, while still fitting the game’s design constraints.

I just started the game recently (about ten minutes of play), so I might have missed some details. But here’s my thought on offline progress calculations:

Since the game already knows the distance between towns and the train speed, it should be possible to determine the exact time required for any route.

Based on that, we could maintain a heap of scheduled events — such as train route completions or resource productions — ordered by their NextEventOccurTime.

Each time the system should pop an event from heap. Then:

• Calculate the income gained, city demand fulfilled, and resources consumed

• Reinsert the event into the heap with its updated NextEventOccurTime

The simulation would continue until NextEventOccurTime > TotalOfflineProgressTime.

This approach allows the game to approximate offline progress deterministically without simulating every frame or tick, which should make it computationally efficient.

Cool. I think your game is on the right path.

Here are some thought I have when I play the game.

Most of the questions ae already rise by corpsinhere. I only have few thought about the control.

The instructions need to expain how right click unselect the truck action. So that we won't be lock from brewing beer.

Mean while, I think left click the selected icon to unselect the action would be a more common intuitive control.

Here is some though when I play the game:

I don't see a reason for using the ice tower. Slowing the enemy doesn't do much since we don't have AOE attack and there is enough enemy for the arrow tower to deal damage constantly. Using the population to buy more arrow tower seems to be a easier better option at most of the game.

Bug report:

The game doesn't load the char set correctly.  I don't know which localization it pick for me but my system language is Chinese

There is no timer. My guess is a bit more than one hour?

With my gamer mind, I realise I can move factories as soon as we have enemy form both side. However, there is no room for moving in the later game:

If I move to the enemy , nothing changes;

If I move to the base, the AOE damage my base too;

If I move the base to up or down, half of the enemy would attack the base directly.

This is a fun game. Reached lv30

Here is some though when I play the game:

1. You should never invest unit range because your units would stay around the factory and the enemy AOE attack would damage your factory.

2. Enemy come from both side. We need some control on how many unit can a base on each side span or better, max unit count should be a factory upgrade.

Bug report:

1.The game freeze when I assign the unit name "SS V(something I forgot)" to the team. Refreshing the page seems to cause the game crush at loading save.

2. The tip said the game start at Lv 100, but somehow the game start at Lv 1. I mean, what are we doing if the fun(game) is not started?

This is a fun game. Thanks for creating this adventures. I am looking forward to the update.

Here is some mirror issue I have when I play the game:

1. We need some setting to disable the battle message. or disable the flight. It is very difficult to catch the message with NPC when the EXP message flood the message box.

2. We need method to bulk eat 100 food. The eat action can easily become dragging item.

3. What does food energy do? 

4. It would be nice to have a manual save button in case we need to leave the game.

I think  we have a overflow related to the current Atom income. The game freeze when ever I upgreade magnetic cooling or just wait for the income increass.

Also, I think the blance needs to be rework. I can simply increase the digits with all the mechanics before getting 1 human

Although it is not recommanded, you could have a helper function to enable any cheat funcationality. whenever you need to cheat, just run the function in the browser console. This way you can keep your cheating for development and also publish your game for normal player at the same time.

I am not sure this is a bug or not. You don't need to buy the VENDING OPTIONS upgrade and you can still buy the drink. With 1000 RatCoins at the begining, testing all buying option is very easy.

Also, if you have the inert max coin upgrade. you can insert coin while you have negative coin

Here is some thought when I play the game:

Spawn Time and Balls On Screen could be traps because the more you invest the easier you miss a ball.

Meanwhile, level 2-4 & 6-9 are harder level without any reward. we enter them only because "it is part of the journey".

Instead of ball HP, it might make sense if we get shorter Spawn Time and more Balls On Screen when we go to higher level. So that the higher level is more difficult but better for farming at the same time.

This is a very interesting prototype. I am looking forward to see more update.

Some thought when I play through the game:

1. All turret requre platform and turret. Thus, unless we have different construction paths, it can simplified as buying any turret incress the cost of all turret.

2. Range is under rated. Blaster can barely defense one side of the base. Meanwhile, sniper can cover all four side of the base even without the upgrade. DPS and overkill doesn't mean anything if the bullet can't reach the asteroid.

Bug report:

select a recipe while you don't have the required reasource. The progress bar would go beyond the limit.

That is why you should trap your worker, so that they would never go to wrong direction. XD

Bug Report:

1. When loading the game from save, Additional Click Power would be lost.

2. When loading the game from save, Achievements button would not display.

1. Waste filter could produce water and Oxygen even if waste is zero.

The mention/heat(technology currency) should be a number I get when the game over. It's nice we have this number dueing the game, but it doesn't effect anything before game over.
Instead, we really need to know how much money we have so that we can plan for supply and new station part. Where can I see my money? My bad, because of the cube icon in the "Order now" button, when I look for cash, I look for the cube

Bug report:

1.the "Max" button would set the asign amount to negitive number if the total/idel hacker amount is over 2147483648. Same for the % button if the final number would overflow.

2.  If you set the buy amount to negitive number, you  can use the - signs to asign hacker to any bar even if you don't have the number of idle hacker.

There might be bugs in the gatherer's AI. Many of them just sit around the storage and stop working.

1. For "Increases WR of cards with a different type than Combo"

Is this mean "Increases WR of Non-Combo cards"?

2. Why would I want to buy Trophies from teammates? What does Trophies do?

I think the game should state that "all player plays theire card in the same order" ( sorry if I missed it). This mechanism change a lot.
