Yep I think that sums up the game well lol.  We aimed to make it as strange as possible so sounds like that worked.

Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for playing!

Love to see other spooky games in the Jam! That ending was wild lol.

Solid gameplay loop and atmosphere. How did you do code the interaction between the eyes and the flashlight? We wanted to do something similar in our game and were thinking of using a collider but wanted to make sure that the player couldn't accidently trigger it if the object wasn't visible (through walls and whatnot).

Nice work!

Thanks for playing!

Oh it is super simple. If you don't know, Peggle is a arcade/pinball style game where you try to collect points by hitting things with a ball.  As you hit more things in a row, there is an audio clip that plays and it gets higher/more intense as you hit more things. You already have a sound play when a sticker activates so making it play a different sound or a higher key would be super simple.

That was just the first thing that came to mind. Feel free to completely disregard my mad ramblings haha.

Anomaly games are a popular format so solid work recreating this gameplay loop.
I got a lot of successful dings in a row, but couldn't tell if it was bugged or if I was actually making progress. A little feedback to the player would go a long way.

Nice job putting this together!

The grooving dude was awesome, great addition 👌 Things like that are why I love indie games haha.

Really solid entry for a week of development. The pacing and suspense was well done. I kept worrying if I would have enough bullets when they would start swarming.
You can tell the player has a lot of swag by how much he sways when he walks lol.
Great work!

Very cool experience! Left me wanting to learn more about what was going on. Saw the instructions on how to make fuel, veeeery strange...

Others have mentioned the voice acting so I don't have  too much to add about that except it was a great addition. I haven't seen that done in a lot of other Jam entries and it didn't feel too cheesy (always a risk when adding it in).

Also I love that you can flush the toilet. So simple and unnecessary but a great detail haha. Well done!

Absolutely gorgeous!
I've seen a few other organ/body part themed games in this jam. Definitely strange so it is fitting haha

Really impressive to put this together in a week.

Great level design and artwork. All fit together nicely. The surprise at the end was a nice touch.
Near the end I was STRESSING haha. Took a bit to get used to the snappy controls but once I got the hang of it I got into a rhythm. Nice job!

Haha I recognize the robot dude asset.
Nice work putting this together!

Dang, for a first game not too shabby. Could easily expand this. Reminds me of old flash games.
Great work!

Cool idea! I liked having to grind and improve yourself using the creatures in the environment. Made it feel really like a survival challenge. Great work!

That cover image tho

I feel like I drank whatever was in that cup. what a ride lol

Fun game!
These were my stickers at the end. Got pretty far by trying to heal as much as possible.
Would be cool to some feedback on how many stickers you hit at once.
Something like a combo counter or even audio build up like in peggle.
Great work!

Jones v cute

Nailed the music, it was super fitting and set a great vibe for you to go splorin.
I could see you expanding this into a sort of deck builder game with all sorts of different tiles. The lil mouse deserves all the enrichment as possible of course.

Nice Work!

This place is theirs hahaha
I want to sink more time into this to get better but for now they keep beating me.
Great work, big fan of all the green glowy bits :)

"flesh bound hell scape"
Say no more, I'm in.

*First message of the game says "don't touch the void"
Me - Immediately touches void

Cool game! the shrieks of the void creatures made me jump a few times even after knowing what was going to happen.

Had some moments of creativity during development haha.
Glad that you enjoyed it.

Thanks for playing!

Appreciate the feedback, thanks for playing!

Super cool idea! Would be a fun multiplayer game for sure. I was pretty bad at coordinating all of them myself.
(Underwater flamethrower is my fav)

The dialogue was well put together, loved the interaction between the Bells. I am very intrigued by the world.

5 Start Game

Loved the colours and art style. "The grain is silent" sounds very metal.
Invisible walls are kind of a pain, I wanted to go and explore your forest and find more circles. Very creepy idea and well executed so bravo on that part. Poor piggy :(

What does the fox say? "Stones, nice" apparently haha
Cute game!

Nothing funny going on in this bar at all...
Fighting them with a knife feels wrong haha

Seems like my kind of club.
I liked the balance between the camera and the torch. I feel like the camera is the way to go. I put my faith in the torch near the end and it let me down haha.

Nice job!

Oh hey it's slender man

very good spooks :)

I have so many questions and zero answers... 10/10

Super cool idea! The camera shaking when you are small was a lot haha
A very strange place indeed haha. Well done!

Lol this was very creative and captured the kitchen chaos gameplay well. I messed up many orders haha

A screenshot of the carnage 👌👌

A screenshot of the carnage 👌👌

Crazy twist even without the next player actually getting your answers. I wasn't expecting that so who ever gets mine is in for a surprise lol.

I am super curious to know how you coded that! Great work.

Groovy tunes and eye monsters 👌👌

Excellent 😂

Super cool game! The vibe is great when you first enter the lab and don't know what you are going to run into. The size of the starting levels could maybe be tweaked a bit. I found myself running around for a bit too long and it lost some of the spook factor (could be a skill issue lol). Would definitely play more of this!

Do we get to know what H.E.M.A stands for?

Thanks for playing!

We had a ton of fun messing around with all the flip effects.
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for playing!

Definitely inspired by slenderman, love that you picked up on that. Means we did our job well haha.

Thanks for playing!

Such a weird and cool world. It had me sweating trying to get into the houses as the wailing wall of death came screaming at me. Great vibes.
