I Got an error after tutorial. looks like this, is this normal?
Very fun, frantic gameplay loop, it's a fun challenge trying to memorise all the different inputs in order to make drinks while in the dark in order to preserve the candle. There's also a nice variety of different monsters and drinks, making this feel like a very polished experience!
this is the game I've rated the highest and the fact you made it in pico 8 very impressive great job
The game is super fun! I love the gameplay loop and it seems interesting how things tie together. Crushed it fam.
Once I wrapped my head around the controls and the mechanics it was a lot of fun. Love the pixel style, candle mechanic. Overall a fairly elegant and well out together game for the game jam. Great Job!
Dude, what a great game! I really liked the mechanics and the visuals! Great job!
I really enjoyed the game — everything is kept in one very pleasant, cohesive style!
I loved memorizing the recipes for specific monsters and preparing the drinks “blind” — it really gives a sense of personal progression.
And the coolest part is that it feels like a complete, full-fledged game!
The idea is really good, but damn, it was a bit difficult for me and the visuals don’t change when you mix the ingredients, but otherwise it’s awesome!
Super cute idea! I love your art, the idea of tying your vision to a resource but still letting gameplay work without it is great. The only thing it is missing is a stronger sense of urgency. It feels like the whole game could be played in dark mode if you memorize the recipes and layout.
