OMG thanks so much. I accidentally introduced a bug yesterday that made the game unplayable and didn't notice. Should be alright now. Thanks so much for reporting the bug, u saved me XD

no problem

I didn't realize I could turn off the light for the ghosts, so I just powered through night 3 while losing points xd. Quite fun

Developer

Yeah, I've had people say they didn't realize that mechanic already. I have to make this more clear somehow. Thanks for the feedback and thanks for playing <3

I absolutely love the style of this, the gameplay feels pretty solid and it's a tough but satisfying loop. Nicely done!

Very fun, frantic gameplay loop, it's a fun challenge trying to memorise all the different inputs in order to make drinks while in the dark in order to preserve the candle. There's also a nice variety of different monsters and drinks, making this feel like a very polished experience!

Once I wrapped my head around the controls and the mechanics it was a lot of fun. Love the pixel style, candle mechanic. Overall a fairly elegant and well out together game for the game jam. Great Job!

Thank you for playing, glad  you enjoyed it <3

I really enjoyed the game — everything is kept in one very pleasant, cohesive style!

I loved memorizing the recipes for specific monsters and preparing the drinks “blind” — it really gives a sense of personal progression.

And the coolest part is that it feels like a complete, full-fledged game!

Developer(+1)

Awh thanks a lot! I was aiming exactly for what you described, so reading it made me very happy. Im glad you enjoyed the game <3

I'm not able to start the game.

Developer (1 edit)

Oh I'm sorry to hear that. You gotta start it and then you use X to start the game. There is no mouse input if you tried clicking the buttons. If that doesn't work then idk what's wrong  :/

Just played the game. Really sweet!! <3

nice puzzle

Developer

Thanks <3

The idea is really good, but damn, it was a bit difficult for me and the visuals don’t change when you mix the ingredients, but otherwise it’s awesome!

Developer

Thanks for playing, I planned on doing it so that the visuals change based on ingredients, but then I kinda forgot to add it  XD

May I ask what in particular was the hard part for u?

Super cute idea! I love your art, the idea of tying your vision to a resource but still letting gameplay work without it is great. The only thing it is missing is a stronger sense of urgency. It feels like the whole game could be played in dark mode if you memorize the recipes and layout.

Developer

Yeah I agree. I think some more mechanics that force you to switch the lights on and off (like ghost and warewolf) would go a long way in fixing that and bringing more action. But memorizing the recipies and layout was the inteded way to play. Thanks for playing and the feedback <3
