Caleb's text mannerisms heavily reminded me of another past situationship (his route fr triggered me cause of it lmao 💀) but his "good ending" was my favorite out of all of them
Penelope, oh good lord....Penelope. I fear, I FEAR shes a vibe and her overall route was my favorite. She was so well written, all of the characters were, but she was on another level.
Theres so much lore i still wanna know about, like what happened with kori? Whats up with the pets? And i kinda wish we could explore all of the relationship simultaneously, but overall I LOVED THIS GAME DEVS!! ♡♡♡
this was amazing! i hope there's an expanded ver in the future where we get more lore about kori. so far, i think the most interesting route has got to be rei's hands down but i thoroughly enjoyed caleb's character and how much of a enigma he is. i definitely liked penny's design the most but i think her route/character falls flat to the others..however, she did make me very uncomfortable so that's something!

Heyy, im really late to reply to this but this was happening to me too earlier(i just finished his good ending lol) and i thought it was just me too? i mean clearly its not because yk you're having issues too but its kinda a bummer cuz the chat really confused me since it wasnt complete. all i did was click "ignore" at the bottom because there wasnt much else to do and it gave a warning of how there maybe possibly be other issues but there mainly werent any soo!
for good ends,, try to ignore their behaviour / advocate for it or sometimes call out their behaviour once in awhile. for bad endings, be more secretive ( choose the options that don't disclose much of yourselves or lie to them ) and reject their advances most of the time ( give them mixed signals ).
ok this might just be me but it won't let me send the message to my best friend at the very beginning of the game, so I can't like, play any of it. i'm sure it's great but I can't get past this part...
Bro this game was so good, i binge game this, All three love interest and endings. The "good" ending ones are so good and still give you some creepy vibes (because they act and do some light creepy stuff), and the bad endings are goated, the music change, how they talk and act is just so good and scary, I liked this because is more realistic than other games with "bad ends" (talking about stalking/yanderes), where they don't do anything bad. This genuinely scared me (specially Caleb, because the scene was literally me: sitting in front of the TV and my window is so close that I imagined Caleb standing there with that creep aura). And everything just was so good :D (sorry if it's not the best writing, English is not my first language lol)
dude penelope's route was giving me war flashbacks, it was like talking to my ex all over again 😭😭 first day we met she was like "omg we're literallyyyy the same person omg i wanna crawl inside you and eat you rgrgrrhrhrgr" and she would text me 24/7 throughout the night before we were even dating and she would live message me her reaction while watching new a anime or show. she would also call me when she knew i was out with family, and it was always some kind of emergency so i felt like i had to excuse myself and pick up, and we'd end up on the phone for hours even when nothing was wrong cause she'd say she was scared of what she might do if she was alone. one time when i was staying over at her house she took pictures of me while i was sleeping which made me super uncomfortable, but idk she was super dependent on me and i felt bad cause it felt like i was her only close friend. i knew her irl in high school tho, so she socially ruined me after we broke up. at least she didnt kidnap me <3 great game!!
Hihihi! So, I just played Caleb's route (because I am the type of person that does not read cw...) AND I WAS LIKE "HUH??? Is it just me or is this guy giving me major creep vibes?" and I wasn't wrong at all (after I decided to check the description)
I still have to play the other routes, but I am liking it so far! Although, I do have some observations I'd like to note:
1) In the mobile browser version, the dialogue texts are painfully difficult to read, both because of the colour choice and because of the weird positioning of it (it might simply be because of me playing it on phone tho)
As you can see, the text blends with the background thanks to the transparency of the bubble and also because of the close shades; it was bearable at first, but when we met the emo boy irl, it became difficult to follow the story
2) While playing Caleb's route, this error (I think??) screen popped out:
It happens in the moment we first call him emo boy and we ask about the nickname he gave us, "sunny?"
Other than that, I have no complaints!! It Is a great game and I came here after playing Mysiosis... I think that's how it's spelled?! Not sure lolol anyway, I will definitely be playing the other routes!!
You, in the majority of the choices, usually have to accept his advances and inquire when he sends the wall of deleted messages. What do u keep picking during his route?

spoilers!!! anyways heres some (lowk unnecessary) thoughts i had about the good endings (bcs im a people pleasing coward):
-i loveddd rei like as a writer they resonated with me sooo much like aurhaeoafei
-they are all so hot. especiallyyyy caleb. emo men.
-penny and caleb were both more unsettling compared to rei imo. i didn't clock rei was lowk guilt tripping mc after admitting to doing smth else while doing the puzzles but maybe that's js me. but penny's good route was sooo unsettling. the constant clinginess genuinely made smth inside me shrivel up a little. had flashbacks to the trenches of 2020. discord was definitely a place to be. the fact that she knew where mc lived or the moodswings whenever mc hung out with irl friends? felt wrong in all the right ways. so well written. and caleb. oh, caleb. penny is gorg and rei is stunning. But caleb, caleb, caleb. the apple of my eye. the light to my dark. the man that terrifies me every time that stupid little shadow crosses his face. oh my lord. i nearly shat myself when i saw it because it was just such a drastic difference? his subtle dialogue that the mc doesn't pick up on (or choose to) framed him as lovingly unsettling. you don't have to be a genius to see that nothing was a coincidence. i just really really really love how they're all written like auhghghghghg. i really cannot put this into words enough.
-ok just returning to character design because it is immaculate. penny, for one, not a typical style i see in vns. only made me want her more. i love it. rei? no words, just, woah. yes. the hair, the eyes, the everything. and i don't know if you can tell yet, but caleb!! when i first saw him it was love at first sight. i just knew. that's it. that's my wife. i love his eyes so much. And the hair that lowkey gives kenma kozume? not only a goated throwback, but wowie i liked that a lot. i loved his personality too, but yk. humanity's need to focus on looks first and foremost.
-the anime references. now, if you can't tell from my immense rant (which i now realise may be extremely overwhelming) but i am a geek. a massive, obsessed geek. i love visual novels (shout out cove james holden) and i adore anime and mangas. I played genshin impact in 2022. I actively play honkai star rail as well as various other games and i cosplay and go to cons. while not all geeks do these, i certainly do. and the references made me giggle like crazy.
ok so i am now done with my rant. possibly for now considering i haven't played the bad endings yet. from what i've seen so far, i love this lots and lots. there are a few bugs, but i did just ignore them and it only skipped a bit of dialogue in caleb's route. thank you for reading my first comment and goodbye.

-for rei, ok, i admit, ''you're cool and i'm lame.' made me giggle more than i'd like to say. and this giggling did quickly stop at the mail! the fact that he sends it right to your home rather than the post office like in the good ending? beautiful detail, i loved that. also the fact that he keeps saying he wants to protect mc? i have a slight little feeling it might relate to kori. i did love the poem he sent in the package though. unsettlingly beautiful in ways i can't word. oh and the art? gorg. i love how the monitor is discord as well, as mentioned before, discord was a very, very dark place and i think that this encapsulates this immensely well.
-caleb just standing there made me giggle a lot. genuinely. with rei i was lowkey shitting myself at the concept of being 'hunted'. guess caleb wants to be the one hunted rather than doing the hunting. He was just... there. and his, surprisingly, unsettled me the least. then again, all of the bad endings unsettled me. like. what do i even do. he's not even hurting me. he's just. watching.
-dear god. i knew penelope's would scare the living shit out of me the most. and i was right. dear lord what in the actual flying fuck. the fact that she just cages mc after kidnapping them? felt wrong on so many levels. like. huh. the kettle description of the cage made me laugh though. but i love the way she was written. so perfectly insane in a love-bombing, infatuated nature.
-THE MUSIC!!! MADE EVERYTHING 10X WORSE I THINK I WAS ABOUT TO SHIT MYSELF DURING REI'S. I DIDN'T EXPECT MUCH FROM REI'S CONSIDERING HOW TAME HIS GOOD END FELT BUT. WOW. ANYWAYS THE SOUNDTRACK IS GORG I LOVED IT A LOT.
OVERALL I THINK THIS GAME PERFECTLY DEMONSTRATES THE EXTENT OF ONLINE FRIENDSHIPS. SOMETIMES IT CAN BE HARDER THAN JUST PRESSING A BLOCK. PEOPLE CAN BE EASIER TO FIND THAN WHAT'S COMFORTABLE TO THINK ABOUT. NO ONE IS EVER TRULY SAFE ON THE INTERNET AND I THINK THIS GAME JUST ENCAPSULATES THIS SO WELL. LIVE WITH THESE FLAWS, OR SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES? IT'S TRULY A LIFE-RUINING CONUNDRUM THAT IS VERY REAL AND MANY PEOPLE HAVE EXPERIENCED. COUGH COUGH, THANKS A LOT DISCORD. Got the good endings for all 3 then went for the bad ones... quite scary. as someone who had a lot of "online relationships" as a teen the good endings were pretty similar to what ive experienced, especially penny and caleb
Just finished the game completely. So fun! Somehow my people-pleasing ass got the good ending for all three of them. Shows how little mom knows about trusting strangers online /j
This is so good! I've only just started Penny's Route and WOW! She is so realistic! I had a friend who was just like that (except the kidnapping obv). the comments/joking threats about others, about not going to sleep, rambling about their interests, even the sudden attacks of fear around being secretly hated and abandoned.
