Why it asks to connect to the internet?

From what I have read in other posts, this is not exactly a "bug", but a thing to prevent leaks from patreon playtests. It is a thing happening to tons of people, but it should be fixed within a few days. As far as I am aware, devs were just being cautious about leaks from Patreon and stuff, though I could be wrong about that as I only got that information second-hand from another post in a different topic.

p.s.; I would suggest that, if this bug is a big hassle, either wait it out for a few days whilst this Mars thing is removed, or go back and play 0.7 whilst we wait for the update. Remember that the current 0.8 version is labelled as a test version, so of course not everything will be fully up to par. Again, hope this helps!
Мне очень понравилось новое тестовое обновление. В первую очередь, когда я создал новое сюжетное сохранение и зашёл в мир, я испытал "вау" эффект, от высоких деревьев, изменений в карте и ландшафте, новых ветряков, лопасти которых крутились на фоне ночного звёздного неба, новые трансформаторные будки с интерьером и разнообразным хламом. Лично я впечатлился. Конечно, есть баги, недочёты и прочая ерунда (БОЖЕ, пожалуйста уменьшите скорость загрязнения стекла в главном помещении, я так долго его отмывал портативной мойкой высокого давления, а за одну ночь стекло уже обляпалось кучей клякс), но это тестовая и еще пре-альфа версия. Простительно.
Желаю всем причастным к созданию данного проекта удачи и творческих успехов! С нетерпением жду полноценного обновления 0.8.0!
GT: I really liked the new test update. First of all, when I created a new story save and entered the world, I experienced the "wow" effect, from the tall trees, changes in the map and landscape, new windmills, the blades of which were spinning against the background of the night starry sky, new transformer booths with an interior and various junk. Personally, I was impressed. Of course, there are bugs, shortcomings and other nonsense (GOD, please reduce the speed of contamination of the glass in the main room, I washed it for so long with a portable high-pressure washer, and in one night the glass was already covered in a bunch of blots), but this is a test and still pre-alpha version. Forgivable.
I wish everyone involved in the creation of this project good luck and creative success! I am looking forward to the full update 0.8.0!
I'm fairly certain it was fixed in the 0.8.0b version which released today, at least it's fixed for me anyways. If you download and update to the new version you shouldn't be getting the Mars bug anymore, whilst still being able to play on any saves you made on 0.8.0, considering it's the same overall version and all. Hope that helps!

1. На месте пикника скатерть в собранном состоянии с самого начала, хотя логично, чтобы она была расстелена (и предметы до сих пор проваливаются сквозь нее)
2. Я понимаю, как должны работать пластиковые ящики, однако мои консервы застыли на месте в пространстве, не давая возможности даже поднять ящик. Сам ящик-то из-под банок вытащить не проблема, но с консервами, что в нём лежали, больше нельзя никак взаимодействовать. Я ещё картоху в них складывала, история та же, но я смогла её собрать и потом перенести работающий как надо ящик с картохой в нём. Сами ящики мне очень даже нравятся, иногда приятно складывать что-то в него, чем в инвентарь (мне ещё нравится цилиндрическая урна с возможностью просто бросить в нее мусор, но она не всегда срабатывает)
3. При взаимодействии с компьютером, чтобы приблизить экран, происходит нажатие в той области, где был курсор. Таким образом можно случайно произвести ненужную покупку, например, улучшений, запутаться в письмах (было открыто сегодняшнее задание, надо посмотреть сколько сигналов сложить в коробку, открыли случайно другое письмо, а там может быть не то количество сигналов)
4. Кел пересмотрел крутых боевиков и пытается сделать перекат (что неудачно), прыгая даже с самых низких уступов
Well I definitely like the new version. The only thing that makes me nervous is the computer. The thing is that because of the positioning of the camera while using the computer the image on it is distorted so that I can't understand what is written there.
Is there any way to customize it? I tried to increase the resolution by 100 and the screen at 4k set but all the same not that.

Loving the new update, but there are some things that have been causing some frustration. I guess the main issue for me (personally) is the changes in landscape, specifically how Kerfur interacts with it. The base Kerfur (non Omega) already can't handle ledges well and her pathing isn't the best when it comes to navigating around them. It's a little frustrating that I have to get on the ATV to go get her unstuck, now. At that point, I might as well just go back to fixing satellite servers myself while Kerfur is reduced to an expensive paper weight until I can get her upgraded to Omega. There's other little things that might be nit-picky (I really don't like having to punch in codes for doors with the mouse and preferred the old way of doing it; it's less immersive now) but, overall, it's a good update to the game. Some tasks have just been made more tedious for no real reason, in my opinion.
You'll need to load into 0.7.0b3 into your save, collect whatever you want and put it in the mail box. Mail box items persist between all saves and versions of the game. There are massive terrain and other updates to 0.8 so absolutely no way you can convert the save. In fact hopefully you didn't already corrupt your existing save by trying that . . . . . . .
it actually does have a green light when you first spawn (unless it was changed in the most recent patch) but the light goes away a little later at an unknown time. You (at least in 0.7.0) could actually grab it and carry it to the base and even plug it in, but then you can’t get it back out because it didn’t have options on it, lol.
