Big fan of the aesthetic here, very reminicent of that one old Windows screensaver, which I though fit the game perfectly, and I love that all the UI looks like a computer's default UI. The abilities were cool, and I liked that they were attached to your RAM, only makes me wish there was more, going all the way up to 2000, but for the time you were given, I think the three there are is perfectly fine.

The player is 'Ridiculously Overpowered' because they can scale their RAM to delete enemies instantly. However, I balanced this by making the enemies equally overpowered through infinite, exponential multiplication. It’s a race to reach an unstoppable state before the system is swarmed by a tidal wave of malware.

Thanks for giving it a proper look! The controls do feel a bit janky without the proper context, but I’m glad you understood the design I was aiming for. To emulate an old system feel, I intentionally capped the RAM at 2GB and I'm stoked you managed to load up to the max limit. I would have loved to include things like decoy clones, but sticking to three was the only way to keep things stable without the game breaking lol haha!
This was so cool- it was SO atmospheric, and having to rely on the minimap and having enemies spam your screen with errors as a health indicator was really clever.
This was so fun. I needed windshield wipers for all the 404 errors lol. I love it. So clean and precise. Really well done! I can see myself coming back to this one again :)
Thanks for checking my game out! Yes, I really outdid myself adding all those error pop-ups haha. The balance I was aiming for is that you can delete a single virus pretty quickly, but even one getting too close can become super annoying. Please do come back anytime! I know it’s not as satisfying as clicking for gold, but I think it has its own unique 'error clicker' charm.
Got backshot a lot by the viruses but managed a loooot of RAM in one run, and the map unlock was a godsent.
Interesting ideas and clever design made me crack a few runs for around 30 minutes, really liked my time on the game!
Thank you so much for playing the game for 30 minutes! I know most people only stick around for a minute or two, so I really appreciate it. Well done on unlocking the mini map and grabbing that extra RAM!
The minimap view was actually the main game display early on, but it looked pretty dull. So it ended up becoming an unlockable feature, but I totally get why the top-down perspective is much easier to play.

Scaling RAM in this economy?? Yeah, that's what I call ridiculously overpowered lol. This is super neat, I've never played anything like it. I was also pretty bad at it, and seeing the other comment about readability is relatable. I was still able to use my abilities and clear enemies. Then it got pretty crazy with so much malware, but I think that was your goal. Overall, I enjoyed playing! Well done :)
Exactly, you nailed the core idea! The system is capped at just 2GB of RAM. The concept is that you are on an old, dying machine packed with malware. The odds are intentionally stacked against you, and the player simply has to do their best to manage a last stand scenario. Thanks for playing my game!
Русский (RU)
Это вообще непонятно, поиграть было сложно, а как пройти — я даже никогда не смогу догадаться.
English (EN)
This is completely confusing; it was hard to play, and I’ll never be able to figure out how to beat it.
Really nice take on the overpowered theme. The 2.5D-style visuals look great, and deleting viruses feels engaging and punchy. Clearing a screen full of error pop-ups was especially satisfying, and tying that directly to your health/RAM is a clever idea.
I like the aesthetic and old school fps gameplay.
I think most of the difficulty comes from the (in my opinion) rough readability. As in, it's hard to tell what is actually happening and what you need to do in order to overcome the negative things happening to you. Even after getting a little more used to it I still had trouble keeping track of things.
There were also times where it felt like my number 1 ability was not clearing out the error 404s.
Another suggestion I have would be to change the pause button to be more accessible to the hand on the WASD keys, since there is utility to pausing and taking time to move away from the mouse or movement keys doesn't feel very conducive to the gameplay.
This was still a cool concept and was well executed in the time we had. Well done!
Appreciate the feedback! You're 100% right about the readability and the pause button. After playing it a hundreds of times during development, I became ‘blind’ to it, but I can see how it’s overwhelming for a new player. Ability 1 only removes 10 errors, so it definitely gets lost once the pop-ups take over. Thanks for the notes, they'll be incredibly helpful if I push an update.
Interesting concept, and a great, consistent design. It was quite difficult, but I'm on a laptop with only a trackpad, so it's my issue.
LOVE the aesthetic of this and the classic Wolfenstein style movement. Everything was on brand as well and having the errors popup on screen when you take damage was a nice touch. Really well done!
