The FIST: Ultra Edition Gashapon Jam is an unofficial jam where participants each submit a mission prompt into a "Mission Pool". When the jam starts every participant will randomly be assigned another entrant's prompt and will have until the jam period is over to create a full-length mission for FIST: Ultra Edition based on the parameters of the prompt they received.     

The Gashapon Jam will run between February 15, 2026 to March 16, 2026. This will be a ranked jam with a voting period of one week after the submission period is over. Between the day this jam is published until February 14, 2026 entrants will be able to submit mission prompts using Google Forms (a link will be provided below). Once the jam begins entrants will randomly draw from the Mission Pool and receive their prompt. 

Prompts will be in the form of a Mission Title and Tag Line. The idea is to give someone the foundation and inspiration for a mission that hasn't been written yet. YOU MUST SUBMIT A PROMPT IF YOU INTEND TO PARTICIPATE IN THE JAM.

NOTE: When you recieve your prompt you may change your mission title and/or tag line but should add the original prompt somewhere in your submission.

The goal of this jam is to specifically create a mission. Supplements, characters or assets are welcome as inclusions to your mission but standalone content that isn't a mission will be disqualified from voting. You can submit as many prompts as you'd like during the prompt submission period.

The optional theme for the jam is KILL YOUR DARLINGS. Every day pitches fly in the FIST Discord Server that occasionally get hyped up or worked on for two days and then are never followed through. If there is an idea you like a lot but would rather see someone else take it on you should absolutely submit it as a prompt in the jam. It's also just an opportunity to finally see an idea you had live on through someone else's creativity. Lean into it!

Prompts and missions created for this jam should abide by the following rules:

1. No prompt should be rolled using the FIST Intelligence Matrix. While it is a great tool and you should feel free to use it for inspiration, the idea is to submit ideas that you've come up with that you'd like another person to design.
2. No AI should be used in the creation of prompts or the writing/art of missions.
3. Missions shouldn't exceed 6 pages (this excludes covers if your mission has one).
4. No bigoted content. Don't be a jerk. 
5. Your submissions should be free during the voting period so people can read them and decide. After the jam is over, feel free to charge for your creations!
6. Your final submission should include a credit for the person who submitted your prompt. Feel free to add this credit anywhere you'd like. If you decide to change the title and/or tag line of the mission prompt you received include the original title and tag line somewhere in your submission.

Once the Jam Submission period is over, everyone who submitted will be able to vote on the entries based on two different criteria: 

ADAPTATION - How well someone translated their prompt into their mission

INTERPRETATION - How different someone took their prompt into another direction

Whichever entries have the highest ADAPTATION and INTERPRETATION score respectively will win free pdf copies of Knighthouse Co's jam winning missions THE MELTING OF WEST HARRISON and PRECIOUS CARGO as well as a random painted miniature that will be sent in the mail.
