Really cool and very polished game! I had one stressful moment near 3 AM but managed to finish the game on my first try!
I enjoyed it quite a lot, love the art and the voice acting for the characters ^^

How does the game fit the theme?
A supermarket at night can be a very strange place, drunkards, bizzare situations, and things that will make you question if this place is real
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

This game looks really polished and the TV static effect is very amazing. It's like you're in the TV trying to break up incidents, definitely a strange place to be in as the player.
Very lovely music and sound effects. This game becomes really difficult over time because you're more likely to not be able to hire people to prevent chaos since they're busy dealing with another chaos.
I love how different characters have distinct strengths and weaknesses that will determine the success rate of them preventing certain incidents.
Clean and polished with strong visuals.
Nice voice acting and clear Dispatch vibes.
Some balance tweaks or clearer explanations could help.
Well done! 💚
Feel free to check out our game too.
Oh, God. 3:20 and I lost it.
It was quite a relaxing game for me, nice voiceovers and god job overall!
The art and music were so good, and you can really see the care that went into developing the systems in this. I really loved the character descriptions, too; they all felt very real. My one piece of constructive criticism is that things are happening so fast in the game that I wasn't really even reading descriptions of events; I was just trying to match the graphs up. This is really fun, though, especially considering that it was made in just a week. Well done!
Thanks for playing the game, glad you enjoyed :D We absolutely agree, one of the things we discussed was removing the graph whilst assigning employees to a scenario so you would have to judge based off the descriptions but at the same time I was struggling to come up with good words to use that the player would actually understand who they had to dispatch 🙈 So definitely some QA to be done! Thank you again for the feedback <3
Character art is great and it looks clean in both the gameplay and the menu. I liked the music as well.
To my taste, the gameplay felt a bit simple since I was mostly matching patterns. I am not sure how it could be expanded, but maybe it could ask a little more from the player in recognizing the situation at hand.
Just sharing some thoughts. I think it is an excellent entry. Well done!
A very enjoyable dispatch-based game! :D
I really loved the small bits of environmental storytelling you give with the events! Gameplay is fastpaced yet interesting and fun, and I think this can very easily be turned into a larger project. If that's the case, I'd love to play it again in the future! ^^
Sound could use a bit of balancing since a few of the voices were a bit too quiet, but otherwise audio was very good.
Great game! I definitely think you could tone down the difficulty a bit since there were so many scenarios that kept popping up, I only felt I could send out 1 person at a time. I still succeeded, but I could easily see myself failing if a couple percentages went the wrong way.
thank you so much for playing!! :DD as a lil tip - tasks get completed quicker the more people you send. this definitely wasn't communicated in the game though and something i added to our description later on Dx definitely a fumble on our part!! i'm glad to hear you scraped through the shift though >:D well done!!
It never even occurred to me to make a dispatch-style game for a game jam! Great job on your game. I liked the art and voice acting. Personally, I would have preferred it if the zone I was trying to hit was hidden and not just shown. It takes away the fun of trying to figure out whose strengths are best for the job. Instead, I just found myself trying to overlay the triangle as best I could without looking at the description of the task at hand. A cooldown timer for the resting team members would have also been nice.
thank you so much for playing! :D and making the zone invisible was actually a convo that did come up while we were working on it (im on team make it invisible too hehe) ultimately, we just ran out of time before coming to a concrete resolution :') and you're the second person to mention a cooldown timer too, so that's a definite if we continue this lil project! <33 tysm for the feedback!!
Nice game — the visuals and the gameplay really hooked me. Keep going! ^^
First of all the art is magnificent! Theo was my favorite being an all rounder and bailing me out a lot of time
Could really see this have different levels with different shifts and employees. Hoping for a sequel :D
The art style is pretty neat. At first, it felt like a normal night shift… until I read the description and realized we’d have to deal with ghosts. And my guy Theo is the real MVP, a true hexagon warrior, jack of all trades. He saved me so many times during the busiest moments.
If you have time, I’d really appreciate it if you could check out my game as well. Thanks!
I love this, is gameplay maybe inspired by Dispatch? Very cool art, and nicely polished gameplay. Good job :)
definitely inspired by dispatch!! we were on a call discussing jobs we used to work as inspo for the "strange places" prompt (thank you to our programmer, matthew, who endured many strange nightshifts himself) and thought "dispatching" staff would be a fun take hehe -- thank you so much for playing, i'm glad you had fun! <33
It's fun for some time. After it, feels a bit repetitive. However, I think it's decent for a game jam. The art is good and the voice acting too.
Nice game!
This is a really cool game! Very unique idea too, I wish you'd played a little more into the theme and had even more paranormal activity and maybe a visual change in how the shop looks as the chaos increases but that would just be the cherry on top. Well done on making a cool game!

this is actually really well made! it feels pretty complete! the art is also amazing! would have been nice to actually see the chaos unfold LOL, but other than that really solid game! :D
