Installation?

I'm confused on how to install the Luna Engine. Could somebody explain this for me, I'm a bit confused. I downloaded it on steam and I'm not sure how to get it into my rpg maker program.

If it's a demo file, then you would need to open the demo file in rpg maker then copy the scripts that you need

It's not the demo, it's the one that they just released.

When I say demo, I don't mean a demo as in demo made for games. Demo = Sample Project with all the Luna Engine files in it

What kind of file did you get when you bought Luna?


1) If it's a .exe file then it's probably an installer on unpacker so you should run that first then see 3


2) If it's a zip file, extract it first, then see what it contains, if a .exe see above


3) If it's a folder containing the project file, then you could open the game.rvproj file using Ace then copy the scripts from the script editor into your own project

I don't know steam just said the download was complete. Do you know where I would look for it?

Go to your steam folder, then go to SteamApps -> Common -> RPG Maker VX Ace -> dlc

Go to your RPG maker vx ace game and click on resource manager or press f10 and then click dlc and it will show you how to find it.

I think I figured it out, just gotta figure out how to know what script does what lol.

Pepper hopped up on my bed to snuggle earlier... and now there's grains of kitty litter all over the foot of my bed. Now she's in her own bed fast asleep. Sometimes, I like to wonder what Pepper dreams about... does she dream of chasing her toys? Pouncing on the lizards she sees on her patio? Purring in a sunny window? Receiving pets and scritchies?

Really interesting seeing the public be so okay with the placeholder art in Slay the Spire 2. I guess they trust in the potential of the final product, but it would be cool if the general consumer had a better understanding of dev pipelines.
