Boss Encounter Structures?

I've become familiar with a couple. like multiple boss enemies at once, a single boss with multiple body parts to target, bosses that summon minions, bosses that summon pseudo minions that explode if you don't break them. I heard a monster hunter final boss was literally the map you stand on.
things like that.

but what else is there? have you seen anything interesting out there?

Make the kind of multi-part boss where it's not just multiple parts on the battle scene, but where there's multiple parts on the map and you have to escape from battles (save boss status) from time to time to change what part you're fighting and to reach them you have to play difficult jumping minigames on the map and evade Galv's map projectiles that deal states and exp drain. The part on the left side of the map can only be hurt if your character is under the black flames state that you can only get if the part on the other side of the map uses an attack on you and you survive. Oh and then also use the parallel common events in battle plugin with active atb so you have to click with the mouse on fast moving small pics on the screen to break the boss shield at the same time as you're selecting battle commands with your left hand.

I remember Final Fantasy Record Keeper, the mobile game, had some "puzzle" boss fights that went like this:

The boss had five panels in front of him. White panels had neutral effects, reds had negative effects, and blues had positive buffs. The panels would grant limited-time effects, positive or negative, to the boss or the party, depending on whoever used a special ability, and half of the strategy was to time ability uses against the enemy's to see who would gain buffs and debuffs.

Some strategies actually relied on enemies getting buffed and the party getting debuffed. It was neat.

Pepper hopped up on my bed to snuggle earlier... and now there's grains of kitty litter all over the foot of my bed. Now she's in her own bed fast asleep. Sometimes, I like to wonder what Pepper dreams about... does she dream of chasing her toys? Pouncing on the lizards she sees on her patio? Purring in a sunny window? Receiving pets and scritchies?
Oh no... she's back in my bed.
Really interesting seeing the public be so okay with the placeholder art in Slay the Spire 2. I guess they trust in the potential of the final product, but it would be cool if the general consumer had a better understanding of dev pipelines.
Haven't updated my status in awhile. I'm taking a short break from working on my game because I have a sliiiight burnout,,
