Hello! I made my first commercial game, and I want to show it off. It is a horror game, and therefore I put it as 18+ (I know you said to keep it PG-13, but is it possible with any horror game?), but most of the unsettling elements are implied rather than shown. There is only one explicit (graphic) gore scene in the game, while the others are mild horror elements (blood traces on the wall, etc.) or, as I said, are implied (there is heavy language and dark themes, though). Here's a list of warnings: Gore, planned murder, body dysmorphia/anorexia, implied sexual abuse, unhealthy family dynamics, unhealthy relationship dynamics, heavy/suggestive language, grooming, mind-break. I'm sorry for posting like this, but I'm not sure where else to post. If you have any suggestions, I'd be happy if you would share them. Also, if you approve of this game being 'out here,' I'll make a proper page with credits and stuff; just let me know! Thanks in advance!

I've seen discussions/screenshots of Horror games on the boards in the past, so I'd say (to my knowledge) blood is totally A-OK, excessive gore (realistic depictions of innards/entrails) are probably ok if blurred.
Swearing is totally fine I've seen plenty of folks here on the boards swear here when giving dialogue ideas.
Most implied things I think would be A-OK, just no extreme nudity or showing of genitalia and you should be good! At least as far as I can tell (I'm making a horror game too! Horror game buddies!! :D)

Pepper hopped up on my bed to snuggle earlier... and now there's grains of kitty litter all over the foot of my bed. Now she's in her own bed fast asleep. Sometimes, I like to wonder what Pepper dreams about... does she dream of chasing her toys? Pouncing on the lizards she sees on her patio? Purring in a sunny window? Receiving pets and scritchies?
Oh no... she's back in my bed.
Really interesting seeing the public be so okay with the placeholder art in Slay the Spire 2. I guess they trust in the potential of the final product, but it would be cool if the general consumer had a better understanding of dev pipelines.
Haven't updated my status in awhile. I'm taking a short break from working on my game because I have a sliiiight burnout,,
