Really interesting seeing the public be so okay with the placeholder art in Slay the Spire 2. I guess they trust in the potential of the final product, but it would be cool if the general consumer had a better understanding of dev pipelines.
I find myself once again tempted to steal ideas from @TheAM-Dol by putting out a video ranking the "new" music I listened to this year. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...
Can't believe I hadn't heard of Galneryus before this year, yet I've heard of the garbage fake band Baby Metal a thousand times. @TheAM-Dol is Japanese, that means he knows these people personally! Why isn't he as obsessed with these virtuoso maniacs as much as I am?!
Are there bots that just review games on Steam apropos of nothing? I just got a review on my old game (in Russian) describing it as an "action rogue-like". What??? I flagged it as "off-topic" cuz I don't need misleading reviews like that FROM BOTS.
Working towards putting out an update and see a random spike of downloads. Keep expecting to see a bunch of 0 star reviews from some angry fanbois of [anything] but I haven't made a hater video in forever. Who did this lol. What is your motive?
I guess I'm gonna figure out some jank way to replace my AI placeholders. Can't afford to hire an artist, so I have to make some ... crap. It's clear this is just a complete dealbreaker for everyone.
More UI/UX stuff. Not sure why this "+X damage per crit" feels wrong. Like I guess I don't like the bullet point next to a plus? Or maybe it needs to say "Bonus X damage per crit"?
For those who haven't played my game, many skills come from weapons. My specific question to people is: what is your expectation of the left skill vs the right one when seeing this tooltip (in relation to conveyance, not game balance)? General layout feedback is also good.
The agony. I post an update earlier today and just now I had an epiphany to fix some annoying mouse controls. I guess I'll wait a couple days in case I have more ideas so I don't torment people with constant builds.
Dangit someone left a low rating on itch and said they'd explain later in a comment but they never did. Normally I wouldn't care but they said the store page gave them the wrong impression of what the game is.
Pepper hopped up on my bed to snuggle earlier... and now there's grains of kitty litter all over the foot of my bed. Now she's in her own bed fast asleep. Sometimes, I like to wonder what Pepper dreams about... does she dream of chasing her toys? Pouncing on the lizards she sees on her patio? Purring in a sunny window? Receiving pets and scritchies?
Oh no... she's back in my bed.

I’m pretty busy at the moment, so here’s just a quick update: my artist is currently working on a new character. Sadie is a young blacksmith who supplies us with weapons and armor.
