Any Linux user had any luck with running the game with Wine?

It gets stuck at launch on a black screen with the text "BE REAL..." at the center, and the logs don't contain any obvious hint about what could be going wrong.

The prequel game works fine, but it seems to be made with another engine.

I was able to get it running on my steamdeck using Proton 7.0-6 I didn't even use Wine at all. Hope that helps

I don't use Steam, but nonetheless I've tried with several versions of GE-Proton to no avail. :(

Thanks for your help, anyway. :)

I was able to export to Linux, so that's now available. But I haven't tested it yet. Sorry you had all this trouble!

Unfortunately the native Linux build crashes at launch. If you want I could provide the error logs (but I'm not sure whether you have any way to debug it).

Thanks again for your effort. :)

That might help. It'll take me a while to figure out how to test it

Apologies if this was covered elsewhere but is there a reason Blinck Island Returns is no longer available? Got a copy in ye olde giant charity bundle (yes, it took me a very long time to get around to it) and just noticed it is no longer up on itch.

Ah, that is a valid reason! If you happen to have a copy around and it isn't a hassle I would like the chance to check it out (I claimed it before but did not DL it), but if not don't worry about it :)
