its a nice game to play when you wanna multitask but don't wanna heavy duty kind of game that required you to think, just let them idle and you can play rdr while it was doing the thing
The "problem" occurs when you're trying to go further. The cost is about to double, but it's make illogical when you look the capacity. For example, a barbu can cost 2K, then 4 ... When you reach a point, it's about hours of farming without increase.
My example?
I've 15 dodus for 8 barbus. Now it takes forever to increase the population.
2° Barbu vers dodu
When you reach the max for each, the barbu are working too fast... or the dodu too slow.
By what i see, you need mor of two dodus for one barbu (about 2.15 or something like this).
3° Improvements?
- Make the storage a part of upgrades (capacity)
- What about a sawmill where the upgrades would be;
* Build new buildings (unlock)
* Buy "rare" essences with a great value in gold/wood
- sell (for gold) the stored wood. The value can be "random" each day (like a marketplace)
- Hiring "mercenaries" with the gold for a couple of days
- Include a salary for workers with the gold after a special event (unlocked by some upgrades)
- Graphically includes the upgrades. For example at one point if the speed has reached "8" change sprites to machines (trucks...)
The cost scaling of the minions could be a little kinder (mostly post game, trying to cut down the whole forest and it's 30K for one little guy) Cool game, nice short experience so thank you for that
And even when you're off making big successful games as i'm sure this will be, another nice little experience would always be looked forward to
love the music choice, the art, and the UI. quick note though, the sound effect when adding logs to the storage (pic below) seems to be classed under 'music' and is still audible when SFX is toggled off.
Gorgeous. Flavorful. Full of character. Can't believe how polished this is for a jam. I love the (mechanical) design of the altar/storage system in particular. Seems like there's plenty of design space if you decide to take it farther.
There should maybe be a way to unsummon workers to avoid a situation where you save up resources and and then accidentally scale the worker cost too much.
Yeah, I definitely need to balance them, their reward is too low for now, and also they are only useful with high density but the synergy is not good yet…

Great incremental game, love it!
Would be happy to pay for a bit more :D
It would be nice to have the ability to increase the MAX upgrade level after the pickaxe is gone.
Alors :
1) très bon jeu 👍
2) super ambiance chill, kawaii
3) à continuer
4) stp
5) pickaxe magique, nulle comme idée
6) j'aime ce jeu
6.5) je préfère les barbu
7) dommage que j'ai une femme et des enfants et une vie sinon j'aurais pû essayer de maxer le jeu
8) bravo draelent

I liked it!
I think you can adjust at least two things:
1° The cost of dodu and barbu

This is really cool. I'll be following this one
really good not bad
Pleasant and relaxing gameplay. I'm looking forward to the next step.
Loved it. Waiting for full release.

Good luck with the game

It's actually still present when both are turned off, a rogue element so to speak
foi relaxante jogar isso, a música calminha é muito boa e o som dos bonequinhos cortando as árvores era muito satisfatório
Lovely game! nice music, very soothing overall feeling. Love the light animation.
Really liked this little game. Good pacing, and I liked the chunky UI / Art. Thanks for sharing!
A little gameplay, a little critique ;)
22 minutes 48 seconds. Was fun!
Very fun little minigame/concept. Can't wait to see where things go... if you decide to continue along with it.
I like the vibe! Mysterious...
And in only three days?
Wish I could see at the end what there is after the mountain, was awaiting the secret >.<
Very nice game. Thank you very much!
Damned!!
Beat that, 2 tries only!!! 😎
Great game , thanks Michel!
Definitely has potential for expansion and I'd like to see where you take it.
Is there some sort of save function for this?
Any chance of a "chopping progress" indicator?
Maybe a line down the tree for simplicity.
Super cute, fun game. looking forward to more!

A really solid and promising start. I'd be interested in seeing more, too!
Elder Trees are not worth the extra effort. They set me back a long time.

I can see a few volume boxes but everything else is black from first launch of the game on android
Oh! didn’t see that issue in any playtests on several android mobiles.. I have no idea, is this the only webgl game where it happens for you??
it seems like elder trees are just take longer for the same reward?
Reward is more logs, and closer to spawn with a high density, but indeed the added reward might me to low for now…
fun little game hope you build more
plays like something i'd buy on steam for 3$ if you would expand it further with prestige skill trees and stuff
Thanks! Definitely close to what I had in mind indeed for a full game..
Who doesn't want to watch tiny bearded men struggle to carry large amounts of wood? I can't think of anyone.
It's a solid game. Nicely done!
Haha indeed! And who knows what they could do with a pickaxe!?
Nice game. Thank you.
I loved that game and would love to dive deeper in it
beauty, excellent. only suggest would be zoom in/out.
Thanks a lot! Good idea indeed, I was afraid zooming would be too challenging technically with the pixel art, but I’ll see what I can do!
sorry, second suggestion :: MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE
