Easily the best graphical LLM UI I have used yet. Painless, smoothly integrated and for me at least extraordinarily intuitive.
Does the vision also work with local llms (vlm)
Yes you can run local vision models through LM Studio and Ollama
Is it possible to use local tts models?
yes you can use kokoro, pocket tts, orpheus and voicevox

There already is spanish support with Kokoro, voices have an english accent but use the spanish pronunciation
Whisper Error message on high end machine. Also with light installer. Kokoro install fails. I can not use mic as it forcing to use Kokoro that fails install. Tried to contact developer vie email that has been provided with license but: contact@desktopaicompanion.com because the remote server is misconfigured

Old hardware yes but definitely not low-end so I don't see the issue
when talking to the companion, it keeps turning down my mic volume. SUPER ANNOYING!
there should be an option to disable that

Bro, I can't select the LMstudio model option... the app just switches back to Google Gemini provider...
Load a model inside LMStudio and make sure the LMStudio server is running

For now, updates are delivered manually, but youâll always have access to the latest version as it releases.
Hello, what's the difference between the Patreon version and the version here? And I don't understand if it's a subscription or a lifetime license.
Yeah it's a bit confusing but to put things simply :
- Early access here on itch.io is lifetime license
- Patreon has free trial (14 days) then it's a monthly plan (3$)

Hello, it somehow is but i would not recommend, there is actually no really good french voice unless you use premium TTS providers like Azure or ElevenLabs. It's definitely on my roadmap tho.
J'ai tester avec kokoro TTS et c'est pas trop mal en fr :) j'utilise lm studio avec google/gemma-3-12b
Pour l'instant la vf est bof, le model multilingue de reconnaissance vocale (whisper) est très moyen en français et la seule voix fr dispo sur Kokoro "siwis" est horrible, vraiment. MAIS j'y travaille les prochaines updates vont amÊliorer ces deux points :)
oh je vois, je suis convaincu, j'achète et j'ai hate de voir la suite (surtout les import live 2d et mcp et travaillÊ la vf) ah bah la roadmap en somme :p
