An interesting game with a cool twist in the end. Loved it
I really enjoyed this whole game, wish there was more! My gameplay, second in video:
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the game :D Maybe there will be more... in the future ;)
Thanks for letting me play your game!
Hey!
Thank you so much for playing the game and for making a video about it - I really appreciate it.
I did notice that the thumbnail contains a pretty major spoiler. Would you mind possibly changing it? I’d love for first-time players to experience that moment for themselves.
Thanks again for the support, it truly means a lot!
Changed :) If you ever need a voice actor to volunteer for a project hmu
Nice game, man. The ending took me by surprise :)
Thank you kindly! Glad it took you by surprise 🥳 looking forward to seeing your gameplay
Nice little game, loved it!
Thank you! - I'm glad you loved the game!
This was a great game! I was not expecting the ending to be what it was! Here's my playthrough!
Thank you! - Glad I got you with the ending ;) - I look forward to seeing your gameplay!
Hey there we played this on stream the other day and I fuckin loved it.
For this being your first game this is super impressive. I was NOT expecting the twist and I loved it haha
You had good sound design, great environment, the fucking gas tanks made me on edge constantly, and the story wasn't complete copy/paste like most itchio horror games are.
If I had any real complaints it would be that the game is that the fog and environment really blend together and oftentimes make it look really drab. Which was probably intentional but still a little eh to look at.
Either way, this game was fantastic and I still can't believe it was your first. I'll be playing any and every game you make from here on out buddy. Keep up the great work
Here's my playthrough if you're interested
Wow.. thank you so much for the kind words! I'm really glad you loved it, and that it stood out compared to other itchio horror games.
I appreciate your feedback on the fog. It's definitely one of those areas I've tested a bunch to get the right look and feel - trying to capture that PSX styled while still having it feel like a snow storm.
Again, thank you for playing it, and I'm so blown away by your kind words!
Great game, DevMoosey! I loved that fear and scary atmosphere.
Thank you kindly! I'm glad you loved it 🥳
Great ambience, Harkens back to the ol’ PSOne days! Maybe a little more punch for the finale to get the pulse going!
COLD PINES
Thank you kindly! Glad you enjoyed it - and thanks for the feedback 😉
Spoiler warning
Hi,
I loved the art aesthetic it felt immersive because of the atmosphere, the sound design was well crafted the sound effects helped establish paranoia as well as world building,
as a side note, it would help if the text were a little bit more clearer as some letters looked a bit too pixelated to read but I do like the art direction of it!
congrats on the success of your first game!
Hi there! Firstly, thank you for playing my game! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I appreciate the feedback, I'll keep that in mind for what comes next 😉😉
Every moment kept me uneasy and I kept expecting something to happen. I thought I knew what would happen but I was wrong. It’s a great first game, which makes it even more impressive. It inspired me, as a game development student, to think of ideas like this for my own games.
One thing I've got to get used to is saying I'm glad I made you feel uneasy and felt spooked! - But I guess it comes with creating a horror game! - I'm glad you enjoyed it, and also felt inspired for your own games! Thank you for playing, and for the gameplay, I'll be sure to check it out.

Really enjoyed the setting and atmosphere (I'm a sucker for winter horror games). The ending works really well given the aforementioned features. You kept me on edge the whole time and I look forward to your future projects! Keep it up! The game starts at 20:32

Comments below clip:
Who would've thought that taking care of a gas station meant walking into a world filled with a dread that walks along with you, like an old friend?
The DEV [given that this is his first ever game] surely has the talent to keep you [and thus me as well] glued to the screen, while you solve all the various puzzles this game throws at you.
It is this subtle mix of telling and progressing a story and the build-up of something dreadful out there waiting to lure you in, that becomes the most compelling part of being immersed in this game to begin with.
Want to find out why?
Just download and play the game yourself.
You will not be disappointed. You have my word for it :o]
I didn’t run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. Kudos to all involved and thanks for making this awesome game.
Wow, just wow.. thank you for such a detailed comment, I'm really happy you enjoyed the game, and took the time to share your thoughts. - it's a real motivation to see someone get this invested in my game - so thank you kindly! 🥳🥳
My grandad told me, "Son, always be sure to give credit where credit's due!"
So, logically, I've got to give you credit for having achieved making this game [for starters], but even more so, for having made such a compelling game that made me really enjoy it.
Virtual hug :[]:
I'm glad you enjoyed the game - but could you change your comments to avoid spoilers 🤣 I'd like new people to have a chance to play it without mayor spoilers. - same goes for the thumbnail 🙈
I hear you. I think I'll just add a spoiler mark. If that doesn't work, I'll delete my comment. I am quite proud of my thumbnail and I would hate to change it.
Thank you ! 🥳 And thanks again for playing my game.
I appreciate you for making this.
Can I ask? what did you use to make this game?
I've been really curious in creating my own little horror game :3
Of course 😁 I've used Godot as game engine. Audacity for audio editing, Photospea for texturing and editing 🥳 hope it helps - happy developing!
Good game 👍
Thank you so much! 🥳
Nice job, I definitely didn't expect the reveal! Very creepy, you have a solid handle on making horror. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much! 😁 Glad you liked the game, and that I got you with that ending 😉 very kind words on the horror aspect, I really appreciate that.
Wow, thank you so much for the kind words. I'm really happy you enjoyed the game, especially the atmosphere 🥳 looking forward to watching your playthrough.
really enjoyed the game, good work!
Here some Feedback:
1. There was no mouse movement adjustable in options, so it was very slow for me, but could be intiontial?
2. I got stuck in the shed between the wall and the tractor while running and had to restart.
3. It seems the small shed next to the gas station has no door or it is just very obscure?
4. Great vibe, sounds and minimalistic level design, just reduced to the core!
Hi - Firstly, glad you enjoyed the game. Also thank you for the feedback, it is very much appreciated. I've taken note of a few things, and I'll be addressing it in a future update for the game. :D Once again, thanks for taking the time to play the game!
very good adventure game
Thank you - Glad you enjoyed the game :)
Wow! Thank you so much - Super glad you enjoyed the game, and thank you for the kind words! Looking forward to see your gameplay ;)
Very cool game! Really loved the wintery foggy vibe. The gameplay is solid and everything feels smooth to interact with. I did notice a few lag spikes here and there, not sure what caused them, they happen on major/unexpected events. On a second note, I would add a mouse sensitivity in settings.
Overall amazing game! Keep it up 🥰
Thanks! Glad to hear you enjoyed the game - Also thanks for feedback and on the lag spikes, it's something I'll have to investigate. :)
No problem! Hopefully you can pinpoint the culprit. If it helps, it feels like the major events objects aren't loaded beforehand, so when the event hits, all the new objects and animations load at once. I assume that would cause a 'hiccup'; and since the screen freezes for a split second, the player basically misses the event (like a jumpscare). I feel like I've seen this behavior in other Godot games but I'm not sure how the engine works behind the scenes; still, there has to be a workaround.
That being said, your first released game is amazing and deserves the attention it's getting! Best of luck with your work ❤️
Wow - Great insight, thanks! I'll be sure to check it out and see if that might be the culprit ;) - Lastly, thank you for the kind words - Being my first game I really do appreciate it.
