This was really fun and also a very cool concept (a hybrid top-down shooter and RTS). I beg you, please add more!

Very neat, love the callback to cold vessel at the end! Only problem i had was that my slicers stopped following me after attacking an enemy so i had to give them the guard order again each time. Pixel art’s simple but cute, and i especially love the music, the robot facility’s theme is a bop

I got to right before the rescue in the final(?) mission, and experienced a game freeze as some of my guys were chasing the last enemy around a corner.

Thanks for the bug report! Not sure I can replicate the exact situation to fix it but good to know things aren’t as functional as I hoped so I can keep a eye out in future.

The soundtrack you chose and the aesthetic of the Serrate Hive instantly inmersed me in the strange feeling of being part of a psychic hive. Games don't give me delightfully new and strange feelings like this very often. Even the squishy sounds and the organic structures, which most people would find gross, made me feel like I was part of the hive. I definetly want to know more about the lore of the Serrates.
Please tell me, is there anywhere I can find out more about them? I would love to see this game, and the concept of the Serrate Hive be developed further. Even unfinished, I really loved it, you have made something delightfully strange.
I always feel so sad for Yuni. I'd love to know more about her story too (I have already played Cold Vessel, I enjoyed it).

sadly there isn’t much! I guess I need to work on this more

can you also make the game more suitable for players that are using chromebook like me??

what issue are you having?

yes I can’t spawn a unit when I collect a egg yet players with chromebooks can’t scroll with mouse wheel or right click you need only have a square mouse board with left click and you have to use two fingers for right click

(1 edit)

The first sounds like a bug caused by starting the tutorial and quitting before completing it, and the second, I don’t think I can support single mouse button at this time, but I’ll have a think about it

Scroll wheel is not used in this game

oh ok thanks

can you also make game playable on mobile or android???

Any chance for android version in the future

I don’t have an Android phone to test on and I have like close to zero experience targeting mobile platforms

Love the concept, the characters, and the art. Wish you'd had more time to execute on them. Fingers crossed for next year.

Also, wasn't expecting to see Cold Vessel stuff in here, but it was a lovely surprise!

This could use some polish in the future, but in general it is alright if I could hang it on my fridge, I would.

I do not usually comment, but I just have to say: Fantastic concept with great ideas baked in, and a ton of enjoyment packed into this considering the short playtime—like seriously, I would love to see this expanded upon!

I would love to contribute to this project, whether through funding or creative means, if you decide to keep developing this. I know it's hard work, but your mind is absolutely brilliant; I can see your vision through every little detail of the game (as nascent as it may seem at this stage of development). It is incredibly cohesive, lucid and well-realized for a jam, even if it may not feel that way to you (though I don't know you well enough to assume this outright, so forgive me if I'm off base!). Just wanted to let you know that I believe I see you in this, as well as what you're aiming for out of it.

tl;dr You have my support if it is ever needed. Now, I'll stop myself here before I break my fingers typing this much!

Thank you for sharing your work, and enjoy a break! Seqqy

this was fun, I think if developed  more with a team this would be really cool.

Wait I know the second fox, that was a fun card game once I wrapped my head around it.

Was fun! Short, sweet, simple enough, didn't drag at any point. It's intentionally made easy so I don't want to go WAAAAAA NOT HARD ENOUGH or anything because that's. Dumb?

Was fun, thank you for making it.

Very fun lil thing! I liked your previous game and this one does as well! If there's a place for DMs I could think of some gameplay things that could be polished up a bit, but overall I liked it! :>
