Deep Spacin'

A fast and wacky roguelike that tells the story of one interstellar crew and their adventure across the universe as they try to complete their final mission. Just one more job and everyone is set for life! But unfortunately, it's never that easy. Embrace your calling as anything from a Pleepian space babe to a Blurg scoundrel while flyin', flingin', and fightin' your way through countless inter-stellar hijinks in 

You are part of a crew of experienced Spacers – a wild ragtag collective willing to take on the most dangerous jobs in this galaxy (and the next one over). Unfortunately, your most recent job ended in catastrophic failure, including the loss of your ship and all your equipment. However, this job you're taking may be the most dangerous, and most profitable. This next mission is poised to be your last, as the reward is good enough to set the entire crew up for life! That is, if there’s a life left to set up.

Deep Spacin' is a rules-lite TTRPG built around the comedic adventures of an alien crew. Assign dice to five basic stats, pick up some gear, and build out your ship with modular rooms and equipment to make the run easier. Using your wits and a lot of duct tape, navigate through Zones and their encounters to finish your final job and get a lifetime payout. Don't worry if you lose someone! They'll come back once you leave the Sector - assuming the ship's still in one piece. 

In this roguelike game you will encounter randomly generated events, in your randomly generated ship, with your randomly generated loot. Within the game, you will have to balance unique Occupation and Species abilities. No two expeditions will ever be the same. Death happens quickly, and humorous situations are bound to occur.

Deep Spacin' was inspired by a collection of specific scifi media, as well as the broader aesthetics of '70s and '80s music, fashion, and ideas about what the final frontier might look like. Here are some of those specifics:
